Had a set of OP's knives for a few years now, excellent set of knives and still going strong. An absolute steal at this price.

25 years guarantee on the Judge knife block. 15 years guarantee on the Sabatier. So, eventhough I know nothing about knives (apart from being intruments used for cutting) the Judge knife block is the one for me, just for the confidence in their product.
By the way, thanks missgem for the posting. Got one for me.

Not a good review on the Judge set:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Judge-Sabatier-Soft-Knife-Block/dp/B00022BPKU/

In short, they start to rust.

Sabatier set gets much better reviews:

The picture of the Sabatier set above doesn't seem to match the image on Debenham's site, which is out of stock anyway. Got a couple of Sabatier knives and they are great. Have bought the Judge set though as sale price is still hot for me. So thanks OP.

Bought some Judge steak knives and forks off of the bay recently (not that I'm cheap or anything!) and they are the mutts nuts. Ultra stylish and well made, does state in the care bit to wash AND DRY straight away to prevent problems; usual 25 year guarantee..............you pays your money and.............
