we've got most of them - my little girl likes Room on the Broom best - she knows the rhyme off by heart and says it with me - they are great fun - what age are you looking for ?
#6
ah they are all so brilliant, my favourites for reading at bedtime.
I have them all, my 4yr old loves monkey puzzle best and my 7yr old still likes them too
#7
I would recommend Room on the Broom and the Grufflo's Child, oh they're all good you would not be disappointed with any of them.

Our favourite is 'Room on a Broom' I could read it every night and not get bored, our toddler knows the rhyme and joins in, he loves it. 'Smartest Giant in Town' is good, again toddler knows rhyme and joins in, he likes it but I get a bit bored after a couple of nights. And of course 'The Gruffalo' is super.
I bought a couple of these in Tescos the other week BOGOF so £3 is about the right price to pay I wouldn't pay the RRP £5.99. Good as presents, we read them to our boy all the time and he's just over 2 but kids much older (see earlier message) love them too.

All are loved by our kids. They are all good but my favourite is 'Room on a Broom', I think it was the first Julia Donaldson we had and it has a special magic for me.
#10
looks like a price match (for The Book Depository and Tesco instore, etc) but some good books here – can recommend the Smartest Giant in Town in additon to those mentioned above.

I have 4, 6 and 9 year old boys and I have all the Julia Donaldson books (except the girlie ones ;)). Our favourites are the Gruffalo books and Tyrannosaurus Drip. I love her style and humour.

Fantastic deal. Bought Room on the Broom, The Snail & the Whale, Squash & a Squeeze and The Smartest Giant in Town. Can't wait to read them to my boys. :)

The Snail And The Whale was always my favourite when my son was younger. Wonderfully poetic, rhythmic writing and fabulous pictures.

They're all good, though...
#22
Charlie Cook's Favourite Book is good
#23
My boy has nearly mastered The Snail & the Whale...saves me a job at bedtime I get the pleasure of listening to him reading it.......he's only two and a half :)
#24
Would recommend all the already mentioned, though I thought StickMan was a little creepy (when he's asleep near the end he nearly gets thrown in a fire...).

Special mention for 'Tiddler - The Story Telling Fish' - that's our 2-yr old's (and my) current favourite and has a bit more to it than some of the others (though I think it's at £3.99)
#25
My son is 4 - I think I'll definitely get Room On The Broom then. Thanks.
