Just popped into my local store this morning and they've got the half price on everything deal on again. This is my first time posting a deal so hope I've done it properly and it helps someone.

I am pretty sure it is, as I checked it in 2 stores & they had everything Half price on Marked Value

julian graves???????? never heard of , dont think we have one here in manchester, wot does it sell, voted hot as any shop that does half of everything is fab in my opinion.:-D
#5
^I think they sell raisins and nuts and... stuff

The one in Yorkshire Mill, Batley is the same.

I asked the assistant and it's a nationwide offer.

Julian sells his nuts at twice the going rate for 2 or 3 months, then has a so called half price sale. He spends a bit of the profit on racehorses. He's probably got a walnut and a salted cashew in the 3:20 at Wolverhampton.

On a not unrelated note, does anyone know why you can't buy brazil nuts in their shells anymore?

I do hope so I went almost crazy last time.... one person in the shop thought they were closing down!
The last time they did this tho' it was scatered sales dates.

back out to shops (again) then tomorrow

That's unless of course he has to compete with Holland & barret. I've found Julian's prices normally quite competitive.

Hmmm I heard the answer to this the other day but my pea brain has forgotten already :w00t:
Let's face it they weren't exactly easy to crack open.

It's because the dust caused by cracking the shells causes cancer :o. Been that way for a few years now.

So who does the cracking?

I imagine those beagles that test Benson & Hedges will be glad of a bit of extra cash.

There's one in the Lowry centre - I spent a fortune there just before Christmas. Fantastic quality stuff and even better at half price. They don't just sell nuts they sell herbs, fruit etc too- vanilla pods are an especially good buy at half price
#17
They have a branch in the Lowry shopping mall, not really convenient even if you live in M/C
#18
You beat me too it!

I love Julian Graves because it's my idea of a great "grown-up" sweet shop as I love dried fruits and the other stuff. They also do a great range of teas and coffees. I'm particularly a fan of the Boaters range of instant coffees such as orange, vanilla, amaretto etc.
When they do have their Half Price sales is a great time to buy spices as well, vanilla and saffron at closer to affordable prices. Bought a huge bag of Garam Masala for £1.
#20
And the dried mushrooms are REALLY cheap in the sale. Also goji berries if you're into that type of thing (V Beckham swears by them)
#21
This offer becomes a routine schedule for the shop.. as they have been having everything in store for half the price for the last 4 years at least.

rated hot!!

i work at the main warehouse here, if i was you i wouldnt touch their own branded nuts sweets and fruit after seeing the production staff! in the warehouse we're told not to send things to the shop that they wont make money on in the half price sale so some of the stuff they wont have in stock for the half price sale. they have alot of nice none food items though, and vitamins/supplements
