With musical karaoke games now back in the limelight, it was only a matter of time before dancing games made their triumphant return to consoles. Ubisofts Just Dance gives players to opportunity to dance along to some of the most of iconic tracks the pop realm has to offer. 30 songs have been included, from modern day artists such as Katy Perry, to pop idols including MC Hammer, Cyndi Lauper and Blur. Once players have chosen their track they can follow the on-screen dancing coach as the next set of moves scrolls across the screen.
Up to four players can join each dancing segment, with complete choreography routines allowing players to add their own unique style to each dance in an attempt to out-perform their friends. During each song, style and technique are tracked, with direct feedback given that can alter a players final score.
Just Dance adds a sense of flair and fun back into the realm of rhythm games, with its full choreography allowing players to improve their dancing technique to some of the best pop tracks in recent memory.
