Not a great price for reconditioned unit. You can pick them up on Ebay cheaper.

I'd rather pay a bit more and get one from somewhere like cpw with a warranty than ebay.

Good deal.

Good deal, for me though....its a pity its not on Vodafone, how much does it cost to get a phone unlocked these days?

I have this phone and tbh I am not all that impressed. The buttons are either not sensitive or too
sensitive and it takes me ages to write a text ( I am usually flying on the texts after a couple of weeks but I have had this phone for moths! )
I have mine on orange contract £35 a month ( free via cashback redemption from phones4u )
Just my opinion on the phone though, and it seems a good price...........

Your brother paid way over the odds for it anyway.

I agree this is a terrible phone for moths - mine has to literally jump on the buttons to text ............ ;-)

I bought mine from CPW and it is already unlocked as they give sim free with all thier phones.

I know 2 people who have had this phone (my nephew and a mate got one a few weeks ago) and the LCD has cracked on both phones while they were in their pockets. Google 'U600 cracked screen' and you'll see it's happened a lot, that's why I said 'no ta' to this phone as a free upgrade from Orange. It seems Samsung are saying it's not covered by warranty and it costs about £50 to repair each time as they just say you must have dropped it. However, it seems there is a design fault where there's no air-space between the glass and the LCD and if pressure is applied to it then (as the large screen has a lot of flex in it) it cracks. The D900 had the same problem and it's never been covered by warranty even though it's a design fault.

It's a real shame as I love Samsung phones and thought the U600 would have been a nice upgrade, but I'm just not taking the chance.

I have to agree, it takes me ages sometimes to text and at times i just give up. The other day for no reason the phone just jumped back to its default settings and im not happy with it. The price isnt too bad though, did someone say it is re-conditioned?
