When the gearbest one breaks in 6mths you may as well throw it in the bin though.....at least with the amazon one you have a useful guarantee..worth the extra £8 to some.

Still not voting hot though as I like to watch my media in good quality :p.

Indeed but most of these boxes will last a considerable time. I've still got boxes from a year ago I bought from GearBest and they're still working well.

What relevance does this have?

Ouch, old chipset S805 only 1GB ram, older Android version all screams avoid, avoid.
If you after a Amazon returns etc etc and happy with 1gb ram at least go for one with the newer chipsets.

Haha very cold I see. Thanks for the feedback guys.
Not really following the prices of the android boxes at the moment. But for the price and the fact that it was being sold by Amazon thought it was worth to post.

I have 2 boxes same spec as this from gearbest, both of them over a year old, both still working, both cost less than this, got to love Amazon's rrp though.

A box with 2gb and s905 is what you should be looking for. On the upside the MXQ box I had 18 months ago is still going strong with no problems. Bear in mind the newer kodi Kryptonite is not compatible with 4.4 kitkat and needs 5.1 Lollipop or above so you would stop at the current release of Jarvis.
