Went into Currys today to see what deals they had on in the sales and bought the above in metallic blue for £99 well I acutally paid £65 as it was the only one left in the area and was the display model which had no battery (was stolen) or charger but has box, leads, etc. I have just bought a battery and charger from fleebay for £19 delivered so great deal lol, but was still going to pay £99. Its really small, best of all it takes x2 SD cards and built-in upload facitility to Youtube. Afterwards went into Comet and still have this exact model in and have reduced theirs to £185 Agos still selling for £229.99. The don't have any left in Leeds and surrounding area's but the guy in shop said it showed quite a lot down south. Here's the spec:

Their cover covers just about anything....and you get a new one of similar or better spec...wink, wink.

Guy sold me that cover with a camera missing a charger. Charger was £20 and cover was £14 he winked as he 'implied' that I could drop the camera outside the shop and they would have to give me a boxed new one (with charger) and a full warranty....for three years!!!

I thought this after getting the TomTom from PCWorld for £50. In a few years drop it and get an perfect replacement! WRONG! They will only provide a replacement up to the value of the item in vouchers or send it of for repair. So not always worth it.

I asked the manager this when I bought it as obviously I got it very cheap and if I dropped it would they only give me vouchers for the amount I paid £65 and he said no you will receive vouchers for a model of the same spec or above as it's end of line anyway......

Not quite. Everything i'm about to say only applies to clearance stuff sold well below the proper price...

within the first year you'll get a refund of what you paid, after that they will try to give you a refund, but you can push for the same spec replacement.
