id like to point out that even though theyre called 'gumy' theyre not made out of squidgy material or anything that which might constitute them as cushioned. if anything theyre too big which makes them more so uncomfortable.
#2
I've got some of these - they're too big for my ears and fall out! However sound quality is OK so worth a look if you're the larger-eared-type.
#3
Bargain! Heat added, reserved some at my local.

Find that hard to believe - I find them too small. The previous generation of these were slightly larger, and were some of the best I'd used, but the new ones don't stay in my ears properly. And they do have some give in them - they're not rock hard plastic like many.

standard 3.5mm

I got a pair of these from Sainsbury's a while back, I couldn't get on with them at all and actually took them back. I guess for a penny shy of £2 and a good returns policy they would be worth a try.

Noddy's best mate should be ok then.

Nice spot Gooner! My daughter already has these and likes them (i had to get them as i sooked up her i-pod whites with the over enthusiastic Dyson!). Got a pair of whites ordered...pity they don't have the Psych slime green ones too! Cheers!
#21
Go through earphones like nobodies business so for sake of £1.99 have ordered a pair as spares.
#22
Got some when they were 3.99 i think it was and they were well worth that, been far better than the original ipod headphones that bust on me.
#23
good find
#24
There goes my cheeseburger and my mcflurry...I was looking forward to them as well.

Went to get these and found that they are doing some of the newer gumy (air) headphones for £2.99 rather than £9.99. I actually prefer the £1.99 ones now I have tried the newer ones but can't argue with the price.

Got a link as I can only find the Gumy Air for £6.28 as the cheapest for the blue

Yeah here http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9004320/Trail/searchtext%3EJVC+GUMY.htm

There don't have the same photo as the other gumy airs but the photo of the earphone is the gumy air rather than just the gumy. I thought it might be an error but went to my local earlier and can confirm they are actually the gumy air.

I bought their innner ears ones, design-wise they decent, sound quality-wise they were horrible, you could not listen to music on it!

Just had last few from Mansfield Argos's ------Hot Hot!!

Bought a pair from our Local Asda only 2 weeks ago £6.99.... Excellent piece for the price. Even better at 1/3 of RRP.

Dave Hill?

I wouldn't go as far as saying you couldn't listen to music with these, but the sound quality is pretty awful - about on a par with the standard ipod/iphone earphones (which are also awful)

These were posted recently and this thread has been reported as a duplicate, however we've received some reports that the price has fluctuated between 2.99 and 1.99 aswell as going out of stock at times (since being posted originally.) As such we're going to leave both threads for now. We are working on a solution for situations like this.
