Not bad deal, got mine from Amazon for 9 pence more, £214.90 including delivery. Tested it today and am well impressed by the size and quality.
Could you tell more about quality???
Hot price for this, £300 at Argos, read the reviews for quality/resolution questions

The quality is very good, the battery supplied lasts for about an hour. Nice and compact, takes an hour or less for full charge. The camera uses .mod file extension which some say can be renamed to . mpg. I don't like the software supplied. (probably because I don't knbow how to use it) Software supplied is cyberlink powerproducer/cinema/director. Also heard it isnt mac friendly (the camera) . I am currently trying different software on it. Not much else I can say, as it's my first camcorder ever.
Ta, Skintzimbo - have some rep!
Hi I've been looking round for a new camcorder for quite a while now and have looked at various reviews on the web. In the end I bought this JVC camcorder from Curry's as they price matched pixelmania. I brought it home and was very impressed with the design and overall look of the camera (especially the touch controls) BUT once it was fully charged I found a couple of problems. The picture is awful in low light conditions. But I was expecting this as it has been pointed out in reviews. However, I haven't read one review that mentions the poor speaker quality on the camcorder. I turned the volume up to full on the camcorder and could hardly hear my husband. We took it back to the shop and they agreed it was poor and thought the camcorder was faulty. I got it replaced, tried again and same problem. I compared the quality to my brother in laws Sony and it was at least 75% better. So the camera has gome back and I'm still searching! Any recommendations would be appreciated! (Budget £300, HDD/Memory Card, night vision if poss).
Nealy, well something new... very strange that no one pointed it out before. I am still searching....
