NEW FOR 2010 A superbly featured CD Receiver featuring dual USB ports offering 2-way control for iPod/iPhone. Bluetooth with switching for two phones and a front panel mounted auxilliary input make this a truly breathtaking unit.
JVC KD-R811 Bluetooth capability with this CD receiver so you can enjoy the safety and convenience of hands-free calling and music streaming. When a call comes in, press a button to mute the music and speak to your caller, without touching your mobile phone. Music streaming lets you play the music from any Bluetooth audio device through the stereo.

The beautifully styled JVC KD-R811 head unit offers the best of all worlds. It plays CD, WAV, MP3, WMA files, has a front AUX and also dual USB inputs with iPod/iPhone connection for ultimate flexibility. You can also add an optional JVC adaptor to enjoy DAB radio reception or add a JVC CD Changer.

The KD-R811 has the ability to "switch" between normal head-unit iPod/iPhone control via USB or to surrender control back to the iPod. This allows you to use the iPhones touch screen interface while retaining USB audio input and charging. It therefore allows you to run an 'App' and have the audio from Spotify, Livecast, CatchUp TV etc through the head-unit.

The KD-R811 provides you with a palette of over 30,00 colours for its striking display. Music and system information is clear at a glance, with four lines of information for accurate browsing. The easy to use controls and large control knob make it simple to adjust your system while you drive.

Three sets of preamp outputs let you add external amps and subwoofers if desired and JVC include a wireless remote for the ultimate convenience.

What's the difference between this and the 711 model on sale at halfords for 129.99?
Anyone? If this is the newer model I'd rather pay 3 quid more for this
They are both the same age. The 811 has a nicer display and the amazing ability to change colour.

Oh and also:

http://homeavdirect.co.uk/jvc-kd-r811-cd-mp3-usb-ipod-bluetooth-ready-player/ have it for 122.99 delivered.
