Don't be silly, 4K is only going to make minimal difference at 55" for most viewing distances and a cheap TV like this is going to be dead long before things start assuming 4K is standard.

There's no reason to believe the marketing that you need 4K on a TV like this.

Exact same TV (give or take) don't believe me? compare the rear pictures of both TV's.

Compare the number of USBs and the number of HDMIs.

You'd need to sit less than 7feet away from a 55" 4k TV to notice the difference in resolution from 1080p. Just saying.

Doesn't make this a particularly great deal though.
