Word of warning and it may have just been ours, but we bought this TV and after 10months it packed up, just glad it was still within its warranty!

Good price for a good screen. LOYAL customers have been issued a 5% discount code for their LOYALty. It expires at the end of today. Don't know if it's tied in with peoples' account, but it's for LOYAL customers only.

Remember that you get 4% pre-vat quidco and the extra 5% off would make this screen cost around £292.86 + postage, which is a good price for a JVC IMO.

2000:1 isn't necessarily poor contrast - each manufacturer calculates their own contrast in a variety of different ways. 2000:1 will be perfectly adequate.

Plus this part of the item description:

"32"(81.3cm) Visible Screen Size, Integrated Digital Tuner, Resolution 1366 x 768 Pixels, Brightness 500cd/m2, Contrast Ratio 2000:1, 2 x HDMI Sockets"

Makes it pretty clear that it is HD @ 720p and includes a digital tuner (freeview). And being as how it can be had for under £300 for a premium brand, it's not half bad.

You can however, obtain the Samsung series 4 from here:

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/5507720/Samsung-Series-4-32-LE32A457-HD-Ready-Freeview-Widescreen-LCD-TV/Product.html

For £330 less the 5% voucher floating around here to bring it down a little and that might appeal more to some, but this is still a reasonably hot deal IMO.
