The Toshiba looks like its worth the extra £15.

for me JVC has always been as good as Sony. If I had not just bought a new Sony TV, I'd have this! voted hot.

and don't forget ur quidco too!

I had this TV wasnt a fan.

Had a weird false contouring issue meaning that peoples foreheads would ripple when they were stood still.

Why do you think the Toshiba is worth the £15 extra?

And will a buyer get £60 cashback when the tv is £299.99? I don't think delivery counts as taking the order over £300 with £60 cashback

mainly due to the contrast ratio, its much higher on the tosh and most toshes use onkyo speakers so the sound will probably be better too

still a good price though

Hi fix :) Yes, as I said in the op, you need to add something cheap to your order, to get the extra creditback.

QUOTE " We offer no warranty on any item whatsoever as we are not a manufacturer". This is their customer services speaking and seem totally oblivious of the Sales of Goods act !! Buyer Beware. I personally would go nowhere near them.

This company seem to feature quite a bit on here but my advice after buying something from them would be to spend the extra couple of pounds and buy elsewhere. It really isn't worth the hassle.

Well said Honeymonster! CDiscount (aka The Borrowers) put a 'sale' on every day so that they can get multiple postings on here every day. Lots of free advertising from Hotukdeals - gains them lots of unsuspecting victims (like me:) They take your money with no intention of sending the goods. Then tell you everything was out of stock only after you chase up the non-delivery, and then take a week to arrange a 'refund' for a purchase that you never made!

I've bought several items on Cdiscount and found them pretty good, they delivered quickly and didn't cancel any orders, the items were good value and I got creditback which I put towards a new vacuum cleaner which also turned up quickly. Just to put another side, people always tend to make comment when things go wrong, rarely when they went well.
