It's good for people that can't afford the more expensive machine's :)
It's not so good that you have to go to Tesco & buy there pods :(

I bought one and can say the coffees are delicious, it's really well made and simple to use. The one button clean is brilliant and turns it from being a weekend coffee to everyday convenient luxury.

Only warning is availability of pods, so far no cappuccino or latte options in my local Tesco just standard roast ground coffee and creamer pods. 'K-Fee' looks like a made up brand, I couldn't find anything online.

So, if you're happy to only buy pods from Tesco and can trust them to keep selling them, this is a bargain :)

Wonder if you can use the pods in a dolce gusto machine?

For reference and reviews, Aldi sell this around the rest of the world, so it's odd that it's available in Tesco here. Google Aldi Expressi. Hope this helps...

does this machine only take tesco pods?

Just researched this and worked out that the tesco pods are more expensive than Dolce Gusto and same price as Tassimo pods ( based on black coffee ) and the machine is now more expensive than the above makes, my advice don't always trust that supermarket brands are cheaper.;)

Actually, the cost of the machine is now under £50 in Tesco, so much cheaper than any Tassimo or Dolce Gusto machine and the coffee is half the price or less. I haven't bought one yet, so I coan't comment on the taste.

I have just bought one of these machines for £49 from my local tesco, ground coffee with a creamer pod is delicious, taste like premium barista made coffee. Hunting for pods now from other sources.

I just bought one of these. I find it odd and annoying that Tesco has a relatively limited range of pods, but I will get family to bring pods from Aldi in Australia and will get pods when I'm next in Germany. I'm hoping Tesco will start to stock a wider range soon.

This machine cannot be praised highly enough: it's superb, works like a dream, it's a fraction of the wannabe barista machines that my yuppie family espouse @ A$ 2500 a pop... I used to be product manager for one of the major manufacturers and we brought out an espresso machine in the mid eighties... What a larf! That puppy just carked on us... Could not froth the milk for shhh

Buy the more cheerfully coloured Aldi ones, the black/brown unit that I have does not look that cheerful but works like a charm! Currently (end Feb 2012) immediately to the right of the entrance of most Aldis. I see there are eBayers buying them up and listing them at twice the price!

I might buy one for my upmarket A$2500 machine kids and make them weep!
