I know that over £12 for a liquer does not seem a bargain, but I have never seen Kahlua on offer, ever. £3.50 off is a decent deal, and I doubt this will get reduced again for a while.
It is an essential ingredient when making one of the most under-rated cocktails ever, the White Russian. It is the drink of choice for all those Big Lebowski lovers out there, such as myself.
So get this in while it's on offer, mix up a cocktail and sit back and relax...

Bit like tia maria smoother flavour though - at that price give it a try!
#4
It's hardly ever reduced because it is hardly ever drunk :)

Indeed. Wandered down to the supermarket with my chequebook and currently enjoying my caucasian. 8)

I mix it with Baileys and it is lovely :)
#9
Great! more caucasians for this little Lebowski urban achiever.

The missus loves it - normally only get it at duty-free... although she just told me Tesco's last offer was 2 for £22 a while ago so not quite as good as that.

It makes great B52s. One layer Kahlua (or TIA Maria), one Grand Marnier, and one baileys. In a small(or large if you prefer) shot glass, pour each layer over the back of a spoon to prevent them mixing. Then down in one. Looks great, tastes even better!

In fact you could use this for sun tan lotion I reckon ?

Heh, shows how much you know about it, as it's not a creamy liqueur! ;-)

Equal parts kahlua, baileys and vodka is called a 'mudslide'

Tastes just like chocolate milkshake , gets you very drunk !
#23
sounds horrible with vodka.

i used to like it (or tia maria) with coffee - maybe even with double cream floated on top (a variant of irish coffee).

although my tastes have developed differently since then (not necessarily for the better).

Just try adding some to your regular coffee.
