I've ordered one too !!

also ordered ideal companion for the washer http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-9341.aspx

£40 (minus £5 using code TDX-CT32K7) so £35 before delivery (I'm using pick up from store option which is free).

Seems to be £50+ elsewhere.

Looks like a newer model to me? I guess it could be worth the extra money if you want/need the attachments...

Arrgh ! Too slow !
Now out of stock at Amazon :-(

The K399 is the better model. £74.99 is an excellent price.

The K2900 quoted earlier isn't as powerful, but reasonable for someone who wants the extra bits.

for comparisons check out:

Heat and rep added.

Are these things any good? I've been wanting one for ages but every one else I know that's got a pressure washer doesn't rate them as being that much better then using a bucket and sponge for washing the car and overall not worth the hassle using them.

Maybe this model's a lot better though?

none left

very dissappointed

I'd be interested to hear from those who got one just how noisy it is. I have a great really powerful Lavor powerwasher but boy is it noisy.....

(yes I know there's none left, but just curiosity....mainly cos of the 'induction motor' it has - if these Karchers are really quiet, I may just go for one whena similar offer materilizes in future)

I've had a KEW ALTO pressure washer for a few years but it died a while ago and I never got round to getting it repaired as the replacement part was about £40. Got one of these Karchers delivered yesterday so dont know how to rate it. HOWEVER I would say my old machine was fantastic for cleaning the patio and getting Lichen and moss off the garden walls BUT I did think that the high pressure also eroded the surface of the brickwork causing the moss and Lichen to return quicker. It also got garden furniture and the cars alloy wheels sparkling clean but not a lot better for the rest of the car than a brush and hose.

Many thanks for that. Your experiences sort of confirms my suspicions a bit.

I got mine mainly for the driveway, garden furniture, etc, not tried it on the car yet but it really has brought the drive up well, even the oil stains I had. The trouble is I only really concentrated on the oil stains, now the rest of the drive looks filthy and I'll have to spend more time cleaning the rest of it (but it does look new where cleaned).
