Great price for a great piece of kit.

Cold voters have a link to a cheaper alternative?

They will be along soon with Krapcher jokes and talk of plastic pumps any time now.

My K2 has lasted 5 years, no reason to thing the K5 won't be better built.

K5 has an aluminium pump head and a water cooled induction motor, I would love to se a machine that would both outlive and outperform the k5 at the £200 price point.

Personally I think the OP has got a bargain of a mis price, well done.

Over to the cold voters for there reason(s) for voting cold......

P.S. I prefer the Nilfisk machines myself as you get more for your £, BUT there's not a Nilfisk model at £200 that compares at the moment.

I wouldn't buy another karcher myself after buying 2 and both developing a pulsing issue.

Great deal. Were the other Kärcher's also on offer? I'm interested in the K2 or K4.

Cheers ;)

Man the OP must feel like a real man when he wheels that bad boy out to wash his car/drive, imagine all the neighbours with their K2's and out comes this monster. Well done OP barain or not YOU ARE A REAL MAN AMONG MEN! (can I borrow it?)

heap of junk but not bad for 200.00

I wouldn't touch karcher now as they are smart price quality. makes me laugh when people say theirs has lasted over 10 years forgetting the fact that karchers of 10 years plus are far better made plus you usually find they've used it once a year

I was fed up with my leaking low powered cheap plastic heap so I got kranzle instead

Just called into B & Q Shrewsbury, the K4 Eco (swithch which reduces power and water use by 20%) is on special offer reduced to £217, I asked the guy if he had any K5's as none were on display. He came back after ten minutes to say that he had two pallets of K5's ready to go on display next week at the special price of £205 he bought boxed one out and the spec on box makes me think its the premium as it has the home patio cleaning attachment with the round head. The hose length is 8m (K4 is 6m) and comes on a cable reel with crank handle, look like a top quality package for £205. Hope this info helps.

Got one with the bigger patio cleaner k5 premium on Amazon

B&Q are selling the K5 Premium Home set for £205.00 reduced from £340.00. This product is not listed on their website and is only available in store. There is a K5 Premium Ecologic set on their website and this is priced at £397 and is not reduced. Both sets come with the T250 patio cleaner, vario lance and dirt blaster. The only difference is the Ecologic set can work of stored water (water butt) as well as normal mains pressure. Hope this clears up any confusion.

Just rang B&Q Telford and Shrewsbury to be told by staff in both they don't hold the K5 in stock
#14
Bought one today thanks! All my local stores had loads of stock, some said they were out the back awaiting being but on shelves so it's worth asking if they have them. Thanks for posting been waiting for the K5 at a decent price for a while.
#15
What is the biggest version they have?
#16
Good price if you can get one
#17
Nationwide I suspect not a good as the old karchers, poor design give it a tug and the whole thing falls over

the latest B&Q flyer had a K5 listed as being on sale from the 28th for two days only. can't recall if it's the premium or not. I believe it was £205 in the flyer, so it could be this one... especially if one store has two pallets ready to go.

Just bought one in Shrewsbury store, they have them on the shop floor, although staff member said it was supposed to be on offer from Saturday, the manager decided to put them out now already, Telford is my nearest B&Q but when I went in there they said I would have to wait for Saturday when they open at 8am. £205 for K5 premium with home kit.
#20
P.s mine came with the T350 patio cleaner with has the power adjustment. Happy days!!!
#21
Yeah K5 premium with home kit.....
#22
Bought this today, it come with the t-350 as standard. Some stores are not selling it until Saturday.

I finally got the full details. This is a K5 Home premium model and not the K5 premium eco model. The basic difference is that the eco model has an energy saving feature and secondly can use rain water from rain butts. Also the eco has 5 year warranty and the B & Q model has 3 year warranty. Hopefully enough detail to decide.... Offer is available only from Friday, they will let you reserve but not collect???? (at least my local branch said this)

Most can't justify buying a top end machine on a par with your Kranzle though, as they are happy with there Karcher K2 for the yearly clean of the patio then replace with a similar cheap quality machine after 2/3 years ;)
