I bought this last time it was on here (Xmas). I used it once and the handle got so hot I had burns on my hand. It is a design fault, so save your money and buy a better one.
looked at this but fancy a window cleaning attachment which this doesn't seem to have
i have this and love it. i use it for my windows on the small attachment then use a blade to wipe round after and they come up fine.
thanks. what great price! orderd.
Ordered one of these a couple of weeks ago, I found it brilliant and the handle didn't heat up at all - perhaps previous poster had a faulty model.

I got it from Tesco, it's been this price for a while but it is a genuinely hot deal because it really is well over £100 elsewhere.

I think you can buy a window attachment seperately which will fit it, but you don't really need one as it's only a squeegee type thing which you'd use after the steaming anyway - just steam them and then use a cheap poundland squeegee afterwards, barely any less convenient.
Never used one of these before. Does it act as a normal vacum too? Can you use it to clean carpets and upholstery?

This is the Lidl one we bought, still a Karcher but branded silverline or something like that. Great for laminate floors and the like. You need to clear it's throat once up to temp else you'll wet everything but does the job.

No problems with burns and a hot handle so not a design fault. Lazy comment (_;)
Can you steam clothes with this steamer?. Thanks.
Everyone at some point buys a steam cleaner and then realises they don't really clean very well. Good at making stuff wet though.

According to the instructions, yes. I haven't tried it yet though so can't comment on how well it works. It does have adjustable steam so I imagine it would be okay if you used a lower setting - the top setting would probably be too much.

No it's purely a steam cleaner, not a vacuum cleaner. I'm not sure about carpets and upholstery, it doesn't seem to mention in the manual so I assume not but I might be wrong.
Expired, back to £130 now :(, darn, just missed out, yet again!
