A mid range, high volume submersible water drainage pump designed to remove dirty water with partices up to a max size of 20mm at high speed. Can be used in ponds, pools & flooded areas. Features include a water level float switch that allows the pump to work automatically between two predetermined levels, an easy push-button system to initially vent air from the pump to ensure maximum operating performance, integrated handle for easy transportation and storage and hose connector offering ease of hose fitting to minimise thread damage.

This is marked at £79.99 on the box, but the shelf edge price is £30! It scans through at £30, plus it's possible to get the over 60's discount if applicable making it even cheaper. These pumps seem to sell for at least £80 online, in fact I've seen them advertised for as much as £110! If you need a dirty water pump, maybe for cleaning out your swimming pool, then this is an absolute bargain. As far as I know, it is in-store only, as I couldn't find it on their website, only a lesser model selling for a higher price!

Forgot to say, I don't know if this is national or just local. I got mine in the Rustington store.

Thanks for this great deal - I have just walked along to my local Focus (Trowbridge Wiltshire) and found 3 on display. They were priced at £79.99 each but I checked at the till and they were priced at £30 each. The very helpful lady even let me open the box to check that the power cable was included (10 M). She said that lots of prices were not showing the sale price and to check if I wanted anything else. I would not have checked without phoopa's helpful post. Looking at Ebay they are about £46.50 inc P and P - reckon a few have been bought for resale.
Glad it helped you. I've got to admit, I did think about buying more than one so I could put them on Ebay, but then why deny someone else the chance to benefit for the chance to make a few quid - not my style, personally. I've had my pump out (ooer - that sounds a bit rude!) and it seems pretty decent - very decent for the price. The only thing I would mention, is that you'd need to get some suitable hosepipe and a clip to attach to the pump. It takes a range of pipe sizes, including 1inch.
Already have suitable 3/4 inch hose - 50m cost almost as much as the pump some time ago. I have a large pond and will find this pump very useful. Also might save the day when torrential rain showers turn up. Many thanks
