Also £7.95 On DVD

Aware that Karl has never seen any of the seven wonders of the world and thinks that they are all “a bit s**t” Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant see it more than appropriate to send ‘the round headed buffoon’ on a journey that will ensure he sees every one of them and hopefully broaden his mind and change his outlook on the world. Or in hope that he will hate every minute of it and moan constantly all for their amusement as well as ours!

Throughout Karl’s journey of a lifetime he will see what all the fuss is about when he visits the Great Wall of China, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Petra in Jordan, Machu Picchu in Peru, Chichen Itza in Mexico, the Taj Mahal in India and the Great Pyramids of Egypt. All the while being monitored every step of his journey by friends Stephen and Ricky in London.

Hotttt.

Great series, slightly ruined for me with the idiot Ricky Gervais laughing like a howler monkey at his own jokes. He has gone from genuinely funny bloke to irritating **** and this series would have been better without his bits at the start of each episode.

Ah, sorry i realise now that i saw the blue writing and immediately associated it with the Blu-ray packaging. Dumb thing to do, but even dumber is the fact that i already own the Blu.

Note to self: Don't attempt to think on a Sunday.

Wasn't very clear sorry. I ordered a Blu-Ray through The Hut a couple of days ago and they e-mailed me vouchers for 10% off my next orders at both The Hut & Zavvi (two unique codes) as they are the same group...

I really enjoyed this series. My firm belief tho is that Ricky, Steve & Karl are having a right good laugh at the expense of the British public as they make a fortune from this series - there's no way this charachter is a real person - I wouldn't be surprised if it has been a plan hatched many years ago.
Surely it's a p*** take out of Joe Public, this trio are too clever to have missed a trick like this?

Brilliant tho!

Heat added.

This has been argued many times before, but as someone already said, why not download the original XFM shows from up to 10 years ago when Karl was feeling his way into the world of London radio with Ricky & Steve.

There is a lot of 'set ups' on An Idiot Abroad (as in they know how he will react in certain situations) compared to the original radio shows and even the podcasts that followed...but this series is still a winner and shows Karl up for what he is, a loveable northerner with lots of simple ideas on life and a cracking sense of humour.

HEAT! thanks!

Also if you're a fan of Ricky + the boys, check out their 'Guide to'

FREAKING hilarious!

Just love the humour from Karl, Ricky & Steve from XFM to present day.
Some classic moments in this series.
If the price attracts a new audience then that's heat from me.
