  I found the opposite, the soles are made from plastic, hard rubber and cardboard, I found they offer no support whatsoever.

  Bought some Karrimors just over a year ago, wore them five time and they started to fall apart. Too old to return, waste of money, please avoid buying

  On the contrary, I've had 3 pairs of Karrimors over the years and the first pair are still watertight! Never fell apart for me, just wore the soles away to almost nothing. Still good for doing the gardening and stuff! Just away to order a nice new pair. Fed up with cheap shoes letting in water under the sole and squelching & squeaking when walking about. Never had any of these problems with the mountlows, these are awesome!

  Karrimor used to be trustworthy british outdoor gear brand.
  
  They have been sold to Sports-Direct and now they are simply a brand name for poorly designed, poorly manufactured sh1te.
