Why? Just because you've heard the name before? Karrimor *was* a name that stood for quality then went bust. Now Ashley is the new owner and is splashing the name on all sorts of cr*p he is pushing out through Sports Direct and Field & Trek. Just recently started using the name on safety boots and wellies!! A jacket on the site made me laugh, was £99.99, now £29.99 LOL, a rip off of TNF with a logo on the back shoulder...and this is still over priced for a basic breathable waterproof. A Regatta at RRP £25 is much better value.
They've put some good rucksacks (they were really rubbish before) on the Sports Direct site now, everything else to do with Karrimor is cr*p. If you want boots, contact the main "quality" licence holder for stockists:-

I work in a specialist outdoor shop, just so you know ;-)

Agree that Karrimor is no longer the quality brand it used to be.
On topic though - does it fold away in seconds if you drop it?? LOL

Christ no! These things are like some brain teaser getting them to fold back. Watch you don't bust your lip/nose when unfurling the damn things to!

The whole point of this post was to post a tent that 'erected' in seconds. Imagine ... you get to the campsite at 11:30pm, it's raining, it's dark, the wife is moaning, the kids are screaming and your drunk .... throw the tent into the air and problem solved!

Until they spend more than 10 minutes in it
