I would look elsehwere if I were you. It is a good price but Karrimor products have gone way downhill since Sports World took it over.

Fine bag for general use but serious hiking / walking etc as above choose an alternative brand

Sorry cold. There was a pink version of this that I bought earlier this year for £15 and on the second walk it was used on the zip broke. It was awful quality. I've got a 10 year old karrimor bag which is superb. Such a shame they have gone so downhill.

Quoted for truth. I've a Karrimor rucksack from many years ago which is bombproof but their quality is shockingly bad now in comparison. Don't buy this expecting great quality as you're not going to get it.

Karrimor isn't the prestige name it used to be, that's true, but I bought 1 of these to use as hand luggage & a daysack in Florida this summer & it didn't let us down. Worth a punt for a Tenner + postage IMHO

Avoid - this thing will fall to bits in no time,

Had one o these about 2 years ago, after 2 months the material had ripped away from the main zip. I now have a beyond by gelert bag which I bought for £22.75 (down from £65), when my local TJ Hughes was closing down. This bag is awesome. Save your money and look round for something beter.

I've been using Karimor products for years, never experienced any problems with their products, quality differs on all products in this world, cars, bikes, white goods, clothing. As long as your not thinking of climbing Godwin Austin then I'd recommend their products for light to medium usage.Great find dougtherugg, thanks for letting us know....

If your a channel islander sports direct will charge you £7.99 postage so buy it through Amazon as sports direct are selling it there at the same price and you will only pay £3.99 postage!

I have owned 4 karrimor bags over the last 15 years or so, 3 fell apart at the seams but my original one is still going strong. I don't think it's the same company any more, but sports direct licensed the brand name to use on their own stuff. That said a tenner is a good deal, just don't overload it.

After reading the reviews i have canceled my order and will stick with my cheap Donnay as was concerned with the amount of people saying the quality is no good!

quality of the Karimoor products dropped once Sport Direct got hold of the brand name. They buy the brand names cheaply and then sell their cheap products under the brand name.

Had one of these for four years. Bought it for hiking around Cambodia & Malaysia, and have kept it for occasional day walks and a general holiday pack since.

For occasional use this is a bargain. Over time the zips are the main weak point - the lapels and elastic parts have a tendency of coming free and the elastic has disintegrated on mine now, but it only cost me £13 years ago, so I think for £10 they're a bargain.

Used it on a 13m walk in the Eifel Mountains last week - it's a handy bag although anyone planning to do lots of walks would most likely want to pay more for a pack with better back ventilation. This has *some* but not sufficient for walking any distance in hot weather. It's also not that waterproof, as you'd expect at this price.

Would also make an excellent school bag for kids.

bought one for £10 a month ago when there was a free delivery code going around. might be worth waiting for extra sports direct discount codes as they appear regularly.
the bag looks quite nice, useful pockets. don't like the chest and hip straps for urban use, and that is what this bag is supposed to be for. might try to take them off.
still worth a tenner i suppose
