Quoted for truth. I've a Karrimor rucksack from many years ago which is bombproof but their quality is shockingly bad now in comparison. Don't buy this expecting great quality as you're not going to get it.
This happened to me also.
quality of the Karimoor products dropped once Sport Direct got hold of the brand name. They buy the brand names cheaply and then sell their cheap products under the brand name.
For occasional use this is a bargain. Over time the zips are the main weak point - the lapels and elastic parts have a tendency of coming free and the elastic has disintegrated on mine now, but it only cost me £13 years ago, so I think for £10 they're a bargain.
Used it on a 13m walk in the Eifel Mountains last week - it's a handy bag although anyone planning to do lots of walks would most likely want to pay more for a pack with better back ventilation. This has *some* but not sufficient for walking any distance in hot weather. It's also not that waterproof, as you'd expect at this price.
Would also make an excellent school bag for kids.

the bag looks quite nice, useful pockets. don't like the chest and hip straps for urban use, and that is what this bag is supposed to be for. might try to take them off.
still worth a tenner i suppose
