terrible quality. Not worth £5

They look like weak shoes, not walking boots

I was in the market for walking boots - saw Karrimor boots for £16-odd on Amazon Warehouse the other day https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00LIJ4094/sr=/qid=/ref=olp_tab_used?ie=UTF8 (Bodmin IV Weathertite)

Read somewhere that Karrimor cheapies are still Sports Direct owned and manufactured and the higher end varieties are made by someone else (?). Many of the Amazon reviews said that particular pair weren't waterproof at all.

Went with Hi-Tec boots in the end. Shame because Karrimor were such an esteemed brand once upon a time.

These boots weren't made for walking' and you know they just won't do - most of these days these boots are gonna tread in nothing but poo :D

Thought I'd try n lighten the post up a bit (_;)

Yeh i would not bother with these, my first pair lasted less than 6months with casual city walking (town and back) 3months in they got an irritating and embarrasing squeek with every step, a month or so later when it rained a little my feet were soaked though, the rubber soles had torn in the dip of the grip letting air and water though, it had happened on both shoes and in the same place so i feel its a design flaw.

The second pair has already started the squeeking, so im guessing in a month or two i shall have wet feet when water seeps up though the soles.

Not sure if that's some sort of sophisticated sarcasm I'm not getting, but it's women's sizes. I still see Karrimor stocked in outdoors stores (usually the better-specced varieties such as the KSB models), they can't ALL be Sports Direct made?
