WARNING!!!!!!!!!

NEVER EVER give your real email address to eclipse-computer.co.uk. They will flood your account with endless spam under 100s of different pseudonyms (i.e. directtv.co.uk, appliancesdirect.co.uk, LaptopsDirect.co.uk, mallplace.com, and many more). Adress starts with Anna.James at the moment but this changes periodically. It's an awful company. Never contact them by email or give them your contact details. It's best to completely stay away from them. If you have to contact them, use a disposable email adress.

I've never had a problem with emails from eclipse either...

Don't buy if you are a Barclays customer, As I believe you can still get this free for 3 PC's here:http://www.personal.barclays.co.uk/BRC1/jsp/brccontrol?site=pfs&task=homefreegroup&value=10662

I think Kaspersky Anti-virus 2009 is the best on the market, i got mine from amazon for £13 ish quid, the price changes all the time there, while you wait for the price to come down download the 30day evaluation from Kaspersky to see if you like it... https://kaspersky-global.esd.arvato-systems.de/arvato/downloadDemo.do?product=21639814

Deposit the £13.64 in a Barclays account, sign-up to online banking and get the free Kaspersky download. :-D

Although, I guess there's probably a minimum deposit to open account, oh well it seemed like a good idea :whistling:

also available FREE to Barclays bank online customers
when you're logged in there's a link on the left side of the "at a glance" page (and probably others)

me too.

tried all the free ones, AVG ,avast,PCguard , and kaspersky is the best by far.
free as im a barclays customer ( thats for the internet security suite too not just antivirus)
Scan do it cheap as well , about £12 for the internet security 3 user disc. But p+p is dear , unless you are hexus/i29 account holder.

It was a while ago and was version 7, BUT had a free update to V9.

I used to be with AVG.
Have conversted to Kaspersky and wouldn't go back.
Takes a little time to setup initially but worth it.

Check the reviews and make your own decision - that's wat I did.

Kapersky complete with UK support is superior to free AV products and worth paying for. A Barclays account is not.

It seems the HUKD voting system is broken, some absolute bargains are voted cold, so don't go by the temperature.

It's a shame this one has -51 at the time of writing, lazy cold voters have a lot to answer for.

For what it's worth, voted hot.

Good grief. Another repeat of the same thread with exactly the same posts.
