I wonder if they'll be running the offer next year.

For 1 year!

When they sent me the activation code they said it was for 3 PCs and would last a year, but to check back with Barclays when it expires to see what they offer with regards to renewal.
I think it will either be free or a heavily discounted fee of £5 or something when the time comes.

Agree with all points, but why is this being voted cold??

£4.50 + VAT for cheapest postage, this is only going to be a CD/DVD in a sleeve, extortionate.

Agree, but I think we both know what your paying for.......The serial number.
Yes you can find them on the net but they only last 2 weeks tops before being blacklisted.

At least for £4.50+VAT you are getting a CD though, buying direct from Kaspersky is more expensive and you simply download the software from their servers with no CD to fall back on.

Its a decent price if your not a Barclays account holder......:whistling:

Forgot to mention that the price listed is Ex Vat, I think the inc Vat and delivery price should be listed which is around £14, so maybe not as cheap as first thought.

zincy: OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer. In real terms, it means that you should really go to the retailer (Eclipse) with any support queries, rather than Kaspersky, as they're only supposed to provide it with harware - such as pre-installed on PCs. But you can usually find answers to queries on the Kaspersky website, or various forums etc. You alos tend to get a CD/DVD only - no manuals.
As regards 'which computer' - you'd need to check software requirements, either on the Kaspersky site or by searching for 'real world' examples of people using it (as some software vendors 'underestimate' the requirements).

There's still a '50% off' discount code for Kaspersky.com kicking around if you look hard enough. Well not that hard actually...

Ok so it makes it £39 for a 2 year 3 PC license but no fannyin around with 3rd parties or waiting for delivery.

As for a back up CD - why would you need one? Simply put the downloaded file on a memory stick

The £10.95 is excluding VAT & postage so for OEM it's not a particually special price.

Most sites put that for legal purposes but most will let you have OEM software without a hardware purchase. Bought a xp OEM from them last month without a hardware purchase. they put that there to cover themselves.

£10.52 + postage here

http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=839040

The postage is expensive here though bringing it to £18.21 but some people have free delivery codes... and Scan have some great Today Only offers sometimes so could be worth buying with something else you may need. Or pick up from Bolton.
