Kaspersky consistently gets top reviews for their anti-virus and internet security software.

I do get mine free from Barclays. It works on up to 3 devices and they renew it every year for free. The thing is, if you opened up a Barclays account with £11 and applied for internet banking, then withdrew £10, couldn't you just leave £1 in the bank and get the same thing for no extra cost each year?

I think they clamped down and people doing that from last year. Not 100% sure though.

common sense with a free antivirus + free firewall are perfectly adequate

If you're an idiot (I mean dont use common sense online) and pay for a security suite you can still get infected

But anyway if you're running a business I would pay

i don't disagree and I do exactly that but common sense is not nearly as common as the name suggests!
