Hmm. I never found this show remotely amusing from it's first airing and it hasn't got any funnier with age. That "Bouquet" thing wasn't even mildly amusing the first time.
40 episodes of Keeping Up Appearances. 12 episodes of The Young Ones and Fawlty Towers. Quality not quantity.

You sound like Mrs Bucket, must have been like looking in a mirror for you. Great price for a great series, heat added (yes, that is Onslow in my mirror).

Ordered as xmas present for my mum, thanks op.

It's funny, but not hilarious. One of those series you didn't mind watching as a kid when your parents ruled the remote :) on saying that, it's still without a doubt an unbelievable bargain of a deal....therefore HEAT from me.

...and several million would seem to disagree with me that One Direction's only discernible talent is to "look all cute and stuff" when they smile...

That's because not all comedy is intended for the same generation. Keeping Up Appearances, like Last Of The Summer Wine, was aimed at a more mature, more middle class generation and hence to compare it with sitcoms aimed at younger people is pointless.

Regardless of whether you like the sitcom itself, the fact this deal is far cheaper than previous ones makes it hot.

I wouldn't recommend watching it, nevermind actually paying money to do so.
