Finished in an attractive American Walnut colour, the KEF iQ50 2.0 Floorstanding Speakers might only stand at 815 mm tall, but they're big on performance and have incredible build quality, handsome good looks, not to mention outstanding sound reproduction in a classic stereo pair.

Equipped with two 130 mm drivers (one Uni-Q and one long-throw bass driver) and a 19 mm aluminium dome tweeter, the KEF iQ 50 2.0 Floorstanding Speakers provide a rich frequency response from 40 Hz to 40 kHz. They're thus suitable for almost all kinds of audio playback, including music and movie soundtracks.

The KEF iQ50 2.0 Floorstanding Speakers offer taut bass reproduction, crystal-clear highs, and a sweet mid-range, making them ideal for use in either a two-channel hi-fi system or as satellites in a surround-sound system. An amplifier power of 15 to 130 watts per channel is required for optimum performance. These loudspeakers will be a welcome addition to any home as well as a delight to any music lover

Hot although they would have never been £1000

When launched in 2008 they were £495,very good speakers though.

1000?
lol
They were always selling at 399 and with the new models that just came out, these are dated.
People are saying the new series are simply amazing, and if you were going to spend this much, I would warrant the extra for the new Q series.
