KEF IQ70 Speakers £499.95 @ Superfi

From latest generation of the legendary Q series, the KEF iQ70s are developed from their acclaimed forebears and deliver an even more impressive performance.

The iQ70s feature KEF's innovative UniQ driver array, combining a 165mm woofer with a 19mm aluminium dome tweeter. This clever configuration is reinforced by an additional 165mm woofer for an extended bass performance. The IQ70s' compelling performance and smart styling make it ideal for use as either a hifi or home cinema speaker.

Cheapest I could find anywhere else was between £640-800, if they had them in black at this price I would have snapped them up!

That really isn't a helpful post (nor did you show anything to try and show people your claim).

Thanks..:)

It's hard with speakers as there's many variables, as well as the individual's ears (speakers/amps can sound warm/bright/harsh etc etc), it's often not so clear cut what's better than what, but KEF is a very reputable speaker company so anyone after a pair of these should be happy..

What is there to defend? Show me where you can get them cheaper and then we'll talk, that's what this site is about. You've completely ignored everything that's been said and still shown nothing conclusive that tells us how great your speakers are in comparison.

GOOGLE for yourself, i am not going to tie up this thread and post information which is readily available, my post here was MY opinion, i have tried both sets of speakers,

also you posted a deal, and then react to every comment made within it, which is you defending your deal you posted..

I can't find them cheaper as these are end of line, and not many places even stock them anymore

Anyway, i'm done here...

KEF IQ70 vs EPOS M22i search shows nothing. I'm replying, not reacting, you're the only person who seems to be against this deal yet I'm still waiting for you to show me where you can grab them for less....:whistling:

Edit - And to the down voters, why aren't you posting with a cheaper deal? :)...or is it just the same bunch that down vote anything that isn't from Poundstretchers?

i still run a set of kef q's (standing 55.2c, shelf 15.2c and the centre 95c) and till this day they have not let me down, and I'm talking of half a decade of usage. I didn't purchase the subwoofer as they came with great bass, perfect all rounder for all sorts of music. Also run through a decent amp mine being an onkyo you get amazing 5.1 sound. Highly recommend especially as i paid a little under a grand for my set up and the technology will most likely be better on these..plus they last fooooorever, pass em down to ya grandkids lol voted hot!

I have the IQ90's and after a month or two of wear in they shound fantastic, top, top speaker manufacturer. I paid £649 for the 90's and thought that was a bargain so £499 for these is cracking value too

Agreed and I think Jay likes to wind us all up as most of his posts are irrelevant. Best to ignore him!

These will require a sub as thy cut off at 100hz. Whereas the KEF can go down to 36hz.

Have to agree with this. The Epos speakers are cracking speakers that are always very well reviewed. Reviews of the KEF's are ok but not amazing. My friend has some and is generally very happy. But you can't really crank them up very loud.

Whops read the specs wrong. I thought it said operating frequency not cross over frequency :)

"Crossover frequency (kHz): 100Hz & 5kHz"
