Cracking deal for top end surround set from Superfi.

The KEF KHT5005.2W is the latest in a series of highly-rated, stylish, high-quality home cinema speaker systems, built to blend in to your home whilst delivering reference home cinema performance.

Featuring five stylish column-shaped satellites, that'll mount on your walls or sit atop shelves, you'll be immersed in a full-range soundstage that'll impress with music as well as movies. Thanks to KEF's "Uni-Q" driver technology - where the high-frequency tweeter is aligned in the centre of the lower frequency driver, you'll enjoy superior imaging - so critical to a realistic "out-of-the-box" sound.

And the subwoofer is particularly special. Stylishly round, it can be mounted horizontally, firing across your room, or vertically, firing up. This unique flexibility ensures it's easy to match the sound with your room's layout and your own aesthetic desires - place it on display and marvel at its beauty or tuck it discreetly away and wonder from where such impressive bass performance is emanating.

Finally, the cherry on the cake is the addition of KEF's wireless rear adaptor system. Each of the rear speakers sits in a perfectly matched "shoe" which houses a wireless receiver. No more trailing wires round the room! The speakers connect to local mains sockets instead and the sound is transmitted from the supplied adaptor - which is completely compatible with any AV receiver's rear speaker outputs. Brilliant!

For a sleek, sophisticated and genuinely innovative home cinema speaker system, the KEF KHT5005.2W is impossible to beat.

Had a demo of the tannoy speakers last year (think it was the F1's though) and a big fan of their speakers, but i preferred the kef's for home av use, tho would be happy with either

If you are wanting to showcase a price cut and get rep for that... that's one thing.

The kind of person who'd buy this piece of kit, well, they wouldn't be hovering round a 'deals' website, would they?

What makes you think all HUKD members are all looking for 50p cans of beans. It's all about the deal, a hot deal. It really takes the **** when you put in the effect to post a deal to let other know, and you get these sort of comment.

Heat added by me.

I'm not looking to buy this piece of kit (even thought it's a very good deal) but something similar to hook up to my AV Amp. Perhaps I'd better log off eh? :whistling:

Welcome to HUKD ggbison, have some deserved heat.

Nice deal. If I hadn't upgraded my system a few months ago, I'd be jumping on this.

Yes, just because someone wants something that is of good quality doesn't mean that they aren't interested in paying the very best price possible.

Regards,

Kef 3005SE owner...

PS Heat added, this a great deal !

I think maybe you mean a person who would buy this at full price wouldn't be here. KEF's home cinema speakers have had a consistently good reputation for years and anyone who is into that sort of thing knows that the quality comes at a price. This size of price cut brings this set within the budgets of a lot more people... sadly that doesn't include me but still hot and far from pointless.

If I was in the market for some speakers i'd buy these. People with a few bob are as likely, if not more likely to use these sites.

They've probably got a few bob because they know how to generate/earn cash and just as importantly know how to keep as much of it as possible.

Computers
Large LCD TV's
Hilton Hotel Deals
Camcorders
Quantas Flights

etc etc.

Plenty of people voting hot and taking up these offers.

Maybe it's you who shouldn't use a deals site. :whistling: Get off your backside and go and earn some real cash. Too much time on your hands posting drivel. :)

I have a set of these and they are sublime and look the part too. I paid £800 just before christmas for mine so this is a cracking deal. Great find

Err, yes they would. I'm very tempted to buy this and I'm on the deals website.
However, having bought a new 46" TV, PC, Netbook and car within the last couple of months, means I'll have to stick with my Missions NXTs for now (and unable to use the rears due to room layout). I'd buy these for the wireless speakers alone! - Just not right now :x

Don't judge everyone by your own standards. This is a fantastic saving for a fantastic piece of kit. Just because people have large disposable incomes doesn't mean they don't like to save money.

I'll check and check prices again. I hate paying more than I need to for things.

Exactly!
Nothing worse than paying £329 for a laptop which then turns up at £279 on here the day after you bought it...

good deal for good speakers, The tin pot sub £300 systems would just sound tinny in my house tbh. I have the other kef system (the pod ones) and it transforms DVD`s

And to put my point in there. I know many people who have nice things but don't earn a lot. They are not sat in a pub all day drinking beer and moaning about how exspensive everything is.

Had KEF's for almost 30 years. Top deal!! Heat added

Aimed at Ryan, I bought some KEF2005.3s for £470 on xmas eve. I 'hang out' on HUKD all the time.

This are immense speakers, however when I listened to them for funsies, there were ever so slightly issues with the wireless. Still I might have been tempted at only £300 more, wouldn't have needed all that speaker cable :-D
#38
Seems a cracking deal to me - I don't need the wireless option and although it's optional to use it I feel I'd be paying for something that's wasted. Could I use the wireless option on Zone 2 of my amp and have some speakers in my kitchen do you think?

HOT BTW. The Tannoys look good but I would definitely need to listen to those - I'm not convinced, though fully prepared to be proved wrong, that a speaker of that size can be 'all that'

Hi

I tried to post this site last year, but it didn't make it through the moderator, no good reason given why, but check this site for even more systems: http://www.kef-online.co.uk/
