Surprised this isn't a bit hotter!

Granted, £19.99 down to £8 could be better (although it is over 50% off!), but offers for non-spiral photobooks of this size seem to be about this price.

Are there any better deals from anywhere available on occasion?
Good deal.. thx

Fine if you're a hippy I suppose, or if you live in London it might make a pleasant change. Don't fancy it myself, I could put a tent up and sleep in the garden if I felt that way inclined :)

Received today not 100% happy. It's decent quality and nice enough but it's not the bracelet that was advertised. It should have the crystal balls all the way across as in the picture but they've used 2 dark silver "spacer" beads instead. In the photo they've used 7 crystal beads/4 spacer beads but the one I received only has 4 crystal beads/6 spacer beads.

Anyone else had this? Not sure what to do as it arrived in a plain jiffy bag with no despatch/delivery note.
has anyone who bought,received yet?
Ordered for my Mum , thank you but not received a confirmation email :( only the paypal receipt x

Not sure, but a colleague who makes and sells her own jewellery, including these, says the quality is likely to be very poor as you can't get decent crystals for that price.

I can see where she is coming from but would guess that the factory that makes these is buying the crystals in vast quantities whereas, I guess, your colleague is buying a relatively small number?

For this price I think it's worth a go as, if it's not good quality, you can always send it back for the price of a large letter, first class stamp.

In the balance is a likely very nice bracelet against a possible downside of a 75p stamp! ;)

£99 for 30mins to take the trip as the only passenger is reasonable but on the price basis I would be guessing it will be a Robinson R22. With about the cheapest operating costs as helicopters go they are also.........well, shall we say the entry models to the world of helicopter flying, think of it as sort of choosing to go out for a nice ride in the countryside in a basic Ford Fiesta as apposed to say an up market Jaguar. These helicopters are safe enough in the right hands of course but expect small and basic, cheap because it uses a single four-cylinder, air-cooled, carburetor-equipped piston engine rather than the usual turboshaft engines found in the more up market machines but expect to be looking at £400 £500 an hour for those! Personally I would pass on this.

http://epic-air.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Robinson-R22.jpg

Please note there is a maximum of six people permitted in the helicopter during the flight. Spectators are welcome and may take photographs

I would like to see you try and get 6 people into an R22!

Well yes impossible of course, but note that at £99 per person if six people want to take the trip it would clearly be necessary for the operating company to then employ a turbine powered helicopter such as a Jetranger or similar aircraft. At the equivilent of £1,188 per hour that sounds like a very nice margin of profit thank you very much for an aircraft that would normally cost around £500 an hour to fly. It would simply not be economical to fly one passenger in these turbine powered machines, in fact as a business you would make a resounding loss. Two or four passengers could be flown in the R22's sister aircraft the four seater R44.

Got mine yesterday and I wrote a review at my blog if anyone's interested: http://www.chocolatejetpack.com/post/9893126192/gear-review-jays-a-jays-four

Nice review :)

Edited By: Stimpington on Sep 07, 2011 13:14
I today received the 2nd of two pairs ordered the day this deal was posted.

I read a couple of reviews which recommended breaking the speakers in, from anything from 8 hyours to 50-100 hours, by playing tunes through them at a decent volume.

Having tested them both before and after, I can vouch for the fact that doing this, even for a few hours, improves the disappointing 'muddy' quality i experienced after plugging them in for the first time.

Bass still isn't quite fat enough for my liking, though still decent enough and certainly not weak, but the mids and highs have reached a clarity I can now fully appreciate.

The microphone transmitted my voice clearly, and I was similarly satisfied by the crisp quality of the audio received during calls. I didn't experience any irritating 'echo' of my own voice during calls, as with a previous pair of mic enabled earphones.

One reported problem which I also experienced was a mild static crackling noise as the L-shaped jack rotated in the earphone port of my iPhone.
However, this went away as soon as I gave the port and jack a good clean.

(Be careful if you decide to clean the earphone port of your device - don't use anything fluffy, or any abrasive liquid. Ideally, you need a thin, totally blunt needle to insert a lint free microfibre cloth doused with a little isopropyl alcohol solution)

Overall I am very happy with these little earphones, particularly at this price.

Yeah mine have been despatched. Having done some further research, I'm a tad disappointed the Fours don't come with as many accessories as the Threes, namely case, headphone splitter and airline adapter. Find it a tad strange as they're the more premium model.

that's a fair point!

yep get the bdt110 i bought this its a brilliant bluray player much better than a normal ps3

Hi waxxy have you tried it on 3D yet? Cheers.
yep get the bdt110 i bought this its a brilliant bluray player much better than a normal ps3
BDT 110 £103 on Amazon with four 3D disc's offer including Avatar, Ice age 3, Animals united and Gullivers travels all new and sealed, sell for about £70, meaning you get a far better 3D player for £33 leaving £56 to spend on your choice of Blurays. Now thats what you call a deal.
Might as well get the BDT110 and sell the blu rays and it would be far cheaper and superior player to this.
Hot on price £140+ elsewhere but not found a proper review of it yet. If its anything like the majority of the Aquos TV's it wont be up to much picture wise
