far cheaper to buy larger boxes and get a cereal container :)

store the large boxes in a bigger cupboard / under the stairs / garage etc etc

But doesn't orange juice has natural sugars which is better than the 'added' sugar in coke? who'd have known it?

thats like saying all fat is fat. refined white sugar generally has more glucose which your body stores as fat and raises insulin levels quickly. FRESH Orange juice has natural sugar containing more fructose (good sugar) although I still wouldnt drink it in any quantity.

a can of coke has 9 teaspoons of refined sugar. Imagine seeing someone put 9 tsps in a mug of tea yet no-one blinks and eyelid to see kids walking around with super sized coke drinks.

A bowl of frosties or coco pops isnt far off that either and then some people add extra sugar lol hence diabetes epidemics in the UK & USA.

Cheap OJ isnt great either tbh

coco pops & frosties are actually 60% sugar! oO

rant over! oO

I know, i'm just playing devils advocate.

All i'm saying is that people think they are being healthy drinking orange juice or, even worse, smoothies, and a lot of the time they are just as bad fro you as the sugary drinks people seem to think will instantly give you diabetes or make you obese.

I used to be one of those people who drunk a lot of fruit juice lol

health authorities should stop promoting juice as part of the 5 a day plan as I used to drink quite a bit thinking it counted as 2 to 3 portions of my 5 a day lol

The Morrisons deal is better, isn't it? You can get 3 big boxes for £5. The three 750g Branflakes for £5 each is 2250g total, three 500g Brankflakes for £4 is 1500g total. You get a whole 750g for £1 extra.

yeah i know, it is much better for you, and cheaper, to just eat a piece of fruit.

I know a lot of schools actually ban fruit juices along with other sugary drinks.

X) the meal at around 6am before going to the gym at 7am :p then the main breakfast follows...

Large (750g) Crunchy nut £1.57 at Iceland - cheaper than this or the morrisons deal, better if you only want to buy one box as well. Yes, I know it's still a big box that doesn't fit in the cupboard..

Big 800g Coco Pops £1.92 in Tesco now, so 1.6kg for less than £4. This 3 for £4 deal only gives half that amount - so not a good buy for the Coco Pops but not sure of the other options
