My first deal so not sure if did it right. I searched for Kelloggs fitband and nothing showed so decided to share. I think this Fitband is a good deal for the £3.00 delivery charge. If you, like me, e…

Not off to the best of starts but don't give up!
This should be in deals as it isn't free, it's £3 - that £3 needs adding to the title unless there's a way that you can get the band without paying it. All prices in the title should include the full cost, so if there's shipping fees it needs adding unless there's a free option such as collect in store (which obviously kellogg's won't in this case)
Ah ok. I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me. I'll see if is possible to edit it.:)
No probs. Cheers for changing it. If only everyone could handle a bit of constructive criticism without getting massively defensive then this site would be a lot tidier without so much clutter and badly posted deals - people on here get REALLY possessive over their deals - think Gollum but with more of a limited vocabulary ;)

Keep posting and ignore the trolls. The longer you're on here, the more names you'll recognise post the same inflammatory bumf hoping to get a rise out of someone!
Edited the title to include the £3.00 posting fee. Did a bit of research and it has three functions:
- Pedometre
- Traveled Distance
- Time
It is available in red or black
Is a great looking watch that counts my steps and lets me know how far I have walked... for three pounds I am still happy with it. :)

The kids got one the other day. terrible. they don't count steps properly as it's on the wrist. Waste of the £3 postage I'm afraid. Sorry.

Who would want to go to Alton towers anyway after what happened.
What an idiot thats like saying who would want to drive on the motorway after a car crash you weirdo
Slightly different scenario, isn't it, though? One's an essential and difficult to avoid - the other's a matter of choice and can be avoided quite easily by not going there. Alton Towers attendances are well down - presumably because a number of people no longer trust the operators to run the rides safely. Not altogether a surprising conclusion, given the track record.
The same can be said about holidays abroad then , I take it you never go on an aeroplane either or a bus / train or even a car for anything but essential journeys ?
Your life sounds really fun , I'll take my chances I think as the alternatives would leave me wishing I was dead !
Did I at any point say that I took this line? You're missing the point altogether, though, as well as misinterpreting what I said. Life contains risks, choices and risk analysis. People make decisions based on risk analysis, but mainly on gut feeling. When a plane crashes people are scared to fly - logically, though, it's no less safe to fly after an accident, and probably safer because of increased risk awareness.

I accept that you did not specifically say that you took this line , you just insinuated that by defending the argument against going to Alton Towers. However, please accept my apologies if I upset you.

I understand completely about risk and personal choices etc , presumably its no less safe to go to Alton Towers and enjoy the attractions there, following these accidents and probably safer too, due to increased risk awareness ?

So in summary and applying your logic , you would agree that you are just as likely to fly if you were to go abroad on holiday as you are to visit Alton Towers , if that was a place you wanted to go , right ? Unless of course the non-logic based 'gut feeling' told you otherwise.

Tells you how bad education is nowdays when I have to be given a basuc math lesson to understand an offer, which I can easily understand.
God help us against the great unwashed.

Not everyone can grasp basuc math as well as you though

It's hardly a "Top tip" get a bowl for two quid when you buy three boxes... want another bowl... buy three more boxes!

Anyone who pays full price to enter any of these places needs shooting - there are literally hundreds of vouchers out there to get in BOGOF, half price etc...

Very annoying when there are three of you wanting to go and you have to pay the artificially-inflated single person price for one of them.

Last year Macdonalds did a half price family ticket for Legoland on the Lego Movie Happy Meals which was ideal for odd numbered families. Anyone seen anything similar this year?

can you use these to Tether?
Short answer: No.
I believe this was discussed in the "Sainsbury’s two free £15 bundles" thread.
I'm sure I did tether, in the past, as these deals came up quite a few times this year.
As it is a limited data allowance (2GB) it would make no sense for them to not allow it.
Got these last time and no way of tethering from both iphone and mifi

iphone is limited by design to only tether if the network is known to it, and Sainsburys might not be one of those in the list it knows.
Not sure about mi-fi, but my Android tethered from it with no issues.

Why cold? Would you prefer to pay for your childs ticket??????????????????????????????????????????? Hot!

It doesn't have to be a child's ticket. I believe it works 2 for 1 for adults too. martin lewis was being his normal enthusiastic self about this deal on breakfast TV this morning.

Possibly cold because the title is misleading - would be worth changing it OP to show that it is BOGOF
Why cold? Would you prefer to pay for your childs ticket??????????????????????????????????????????? Hot!
Info from MSE website

Look for promotional packs of Kellogg's cereal, including Rice Krispies, Coco Pops, Corn Flakes, Frosties and Crunchy Nut (£2-£3), which include a "grown ups go free" voucher (usually up to £48 a ticket).

These can be used at 27 Merlin attractions, such as Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Sea Life and Madame Tussauds, until 30 Jun 2015. It also includes the London Eye, but only until Fri 18 Apr, with very limited availability (Merlin's confirmed to us that it's included.)

Effectively this is a 2for1, as you must buy a full-price child or adult ticket to get the free adult entry.

This voucher’s best to grab so you can go at any time

This is probably the easiest of the three Merlin deals which are currently available. You can grab it, put it in a drawer, then use it at any time in 2014, including the summer. (Some dates are excluded, see below.) If you’re planning to go sometime, but aren’t sure when, this is perfect.

As this 2for1 is for on the gate tickets, it’s always worth checking online before you use the voucher as these tickets tend to be discounted. Also make sure there are no other deals on, as attractions have offers all year round - such as Thorpe Park £20 tickets.

@parisp, which half term is it £12 at Alton towers? never heard of that before and my kids really want to go. thanks

Hi, if you book online as a family at least 1 child one adult it's only £12 each. It's moshi monsters week, some rides are closed but still plenty to do for younger ones. X
Bit of a con as you have to pay the gate price which can be up to £11 more per ticket, however, still works out cheaper than buying 2 tickets in advance so 'HOT' from me
