Had to laugh at the review:

"This item does not have GPS capability.
It's controlled via your phone Bluetooth.
The connectivity and distance covered is very poor not even 10meters."

I will buy this and instead of attaching it to my keys I will attach it to my cat.

"Warns you when your house or car keys go past a specific distance, helps you locate your smart phone."... Handy for the car keys, but i tend to find my house stays in the same place most the time.

Yes, wondered about cat and dog use, but more like a 1/4 mile range needed for most than 10 meters !
Mind you, if willing to walk around searching, least you would know when within 10 metres hiding place, I guess !
I see from spec that battery lasts 6 months, so long enough to find pet if locked in neighbour shed or living in their house ?

Saw something the other day at memory bits (i think) that was cheaper. You could use it to operate your camera and set it to record audio from your phone.

I'm moving to Los Angeles next year, so could be handy for keeping tabs on my house, if the 'big one' hits the city.
