good price, i dont know if anyone can add to this but i bought one of these a few months ago and wish i never, u need to turn the bread to get it toasted all over and it seems to have a temp setting of its own, sometimes ur toast is nice and brown sometimes burnt on one side.... i used to have one of the cheapy 2 slice ones before i bought this and it did a better job.... hopefully not puting people off it is a good buy for £20 but if i had to buy another i wouldnt buy this

This gets a respectable 8.2/10 on Reevoo

I got one of these a few months ago in the Argos sale and it is now sat at the back of a cupboard as it's rubbish ! It seems to do whatever it likes regarding temperatures and it toasts the bread very uneven.

Also the sides get extremely hot and I did manage to burn myself on one of the rare occasions I used it !

Bought this for £24 and it's awful IMO. Takes about 10 mins to toast on any setting and dries the bread out completely, doesn't make nice toast at all.
#13
I've got one of these too, or should I say had one. It's great to look at but the toast it serves is very poor.

its whats on the inside that counts (that includes mouldy bread)

Good price - i paid £25 for it at argos a few months ago. Though like other people have mentioned it does not make good toast. Not browned all over and makes the bread really hard and dry. I would suspect you can get toasters for the same money that make better quality toast.

Its getting toasty in here! hot from me

Hmm. Is it really a good price if it does not make good toast, given that that is its soul purpose in life? Its Raison d'être, if you will?

Had one of these and its not very good. Large slices stick out and did not toast well either. Spring broke after a month and i returned it back to Argos.

Sounds like my reserved one, can stay reserved!

I agree this is rubbish. I really must buy something else to replace the one I bought a few months ago:oops:

Looks like everyone trying to rid of it, half price in homebase an all!

I bought one of these as soon as I saw it on here last week. It's got to be the slowest toaster i the world! Bought it as a backup toaster for my cafe, can cook a full English quicker than it takes to do the toast for it!
