bought one of these from amazon (14.99) 3 weeks ago, makes lovely cappucino & hot chocolate, but then blew all my house fuses! and now cannot be used, because ut fuses the house every time i plug it in!! so is being sent back. Shame bacause I liked it :-(

Great find, but it would only collect dust in my house!

I always thought these were overly expensive.

It is just the kind of thing you use once and then never again.

We bought one from Amazon a few weeks ago. Be warned though: It's all plastic, it's a bitch to clean and you cant immerse the jug in water beacuase the heater element is embedded inside. If you can live with that, it makes great drinks...

Yeah I think that is it's biggest downfall really :(

But I have bought some Starbucks Tazo Chai Concentrate to recreate Starbucks Tazo Chai Tea Latte and it is heavenly:D

Great price but it would only end up under the sink, along with the other kitchen gadgets I've collected over the years. :)

I quite agree with everyone about it being another gadget that will gather dust or get stuck in a cupboard. That's why I'm buying it for someone else!

I bought one from amazon and was unsure if it would just collect dust, but it is being used almost every day. Cleaning is the only slight problem because you can't immerse the jug in water but just fill it up with hot water + fairy and leave it a while. Much better than I had expected.

I agree, I am not a gadget perosn think why buy something if you can do the same perfectly well wwithout it, but we loved this!! we used it every day for cappuccino, hot choc & milkshakes, was very upset when it blew my house fuses!!
I think i must have got some water on the electric bit at the back, although am sure i didnt, it does tlel you not to immerse in water whivh is fair enough but very difficult not to get it wet when you have to wash it up!!

I bought one of these when they first came out early 2007 i think, it was brill i used it all the time for frothy coffee and icecream milkshakes, was gutted when it eventually broke, as it cost me around 47pound the first time around i couldnt afford another. So glad i,ve come across them again at a fraction of the price now, so i,ll definately will be buying another :-)
