I was looking to replace the nokia bluetooth car kit in the van and came across this which compared to buying a parrot kit worked out way cheaper. I realise there's no ipod connectivity but you can't have everything at this price (and i dont own ipod/iphone anyway).
There's also a £10 voucher this weekend on all purchases over £50!

very good price, and it does have an aux in for ipod, plus can take steering wheel control adapters unlike many of the cheaper bluetooth units.

Good spot and highly recommended. I have a Sony bt head unit and I couldn't go back to wearing a headset again.

Have some heat.

I have one, as an handsfree kit works really really well.
People hear me loud and clear and so do i trough car speakers.

EDIT: Actually i have a BT40U, similar but not the same, sorry.

can the colour on the display unit be change to blue instead of red

Just a word of caution, don't buy the recommended leads or fascia, they told me i needed a lead and fascia adapter, i needed neither! If you do need a lead or fascia buy the headunit separately and use the £10 voucher.

Good price - no A2DP which would spoil it for me...

Having a quick look at the Halfords web site if I wanted a Bluetooth Head Unit I'd go for the Sony MEX-BT3800 at £109; which with 15% brings it down to £95 or so. (I've got a Sony bluetooth head unit in my car and I'm very happy with it.)

Also I think you should be able to get 4% quidco on top.

Yes i've got one of these in the car but it was hard to justify the extra cost for the van.

I currently have Sony Xplod unit in a VW Bora, I bought a conversion lead for my Sony unit a while ago which I am using, can I use the same lead for Kenwood or do I need another one? I dont think the factory lead will directly plug into this unit?? Also good offers on speakers........
