With striking good looks, plenty of storage space and an excellent energy efficiency rating, the white Kenwood KFF2DW14 American-Style Fridge Freezer is your answer to big food storage.

Big capacity

This family-sized side-by-side appliance has a large storage capacity and a selection of useful storage features to help you keep things organised. The 335-litre fridge is equipped with four adjustable shelves, a large box salad crisper for fruit and vegetables and four handy door compartments.

Enjoy easy access to your frozen items - open the left door to four freezer shelves, one drawer and four door compartments.

Refrigeration technology

Automatic defrosting and frost free technology prevent ice build up so you no longer have to manually defrost the fridge or freezer again. Super Cool and Super Freeze functions rapidly drop the temperature to cool new items, locking in their freshness.

The KFF2DW14 appliance pumps cool air around the entire fridge and freezer, ensuring all products are cooled at the same level.

Cool features

A Holiday mode allows you to save energy when you're not using the appliance, managing performance levels to remain efficient even if there isn't much in the appliance.

You can keep a close eye on the temperature with the external LED touch display. There's also an open door alarm that will sound when the door has been open for too long. The controls have a lock button to stop settings from accidentally being changed.

Offering you maximum storage space and a fantastic cooling performance, the Kenwood KFF2DW14 American-Style Fridge Freezer is ideal for the busy family home.

Was looking at this the other day in Currys for my parents, do the shelves adjust as I read a review where someone said they didn't and I forgot to check. Did it get in your house ok? They have a standard size door and the guy in Currys said they would have to pay for a fridge/freezer door swap which costs around £30-£35 oO

"excellent energy efficiency rating"? Nope, the poorest rating that is allowed to be sold.

They brought it in through the patio doors, but the guy made it clear that if it had come through the kitchen door they would have had to remove the door. He didn't mention a charge. Not sure what you mean by adjustable - the shelves and door shelves can be lifted out for cleaning, but that's about it.

I agree it's not the most energy efficient fridge freezer though. We bought it because we didn't want a water dispenser and many of the bigger ones come with one.

No prob - I was objecting to the marketing bull, not your purchase. :)

Thanks for your reply. By adjustable I mean can the shelves be put at different levels if you want a bigger or smaller gap in between shelves if that makes sense.

I see what you mean now. No the shelves aren't adjustable. There are four shelves which can sit on five built in supports. You can vary the space between the shelves but only by varying which of the supports you use. Even then, two supports are only about two inches apart, so in reality the shelves are all about 24/25cm apart and can't be adjusted to give more or less height. Ours is mostly full of cheap Halloween chocolate and those m and m multipacks go pretty flat :)

Its got a Kenwood label on it. But what you are buying is actually a Bush product. Think about it...

would you buy a bush product? even if it was a £10 bush radio? Or a £150 bush tv?
seriously, pay more for something better. You wont regret it.

*thinks about it* - yay, I'll go out and buy a Bush product and I'll really be getting Kenwood!

Edit: object to this product by all means, but not by slinging around brand names, because they mean nothing. What is actually wrong with this product, in your opinion?

What I am saying is you are not getting a bargain. The £250 saving is fake. The product as a no name one only sells for £380. The saving is fictitious. Sticking a Kenwood label on it and saying it is worth £650 is a lie. It is still a £380 product. There is no saving.

Aside from the minimum energy efficiency rating and the noise of the device and the fact that it hides the real manufacturer name and the reported low grade components. Then nothing. As I didn't want to buy a pig in a poke.
I did seriously look at this because of the price but after doing my research decided it is better to buy a real fridge freezer rather than a toy one. The difference is like buying a no brand £80 tablet and a branded £300. Sometimes in life you get what you pay for.

Thank you - do you have a link to these reports of low-grade components?

is one source I have been to but I have been to others that say the same thing. Also Kenwood do not make large white goods. If you go to the official Kenwood site they do not sell fridge freezers washing machines or driers. The quality Kenwood products are Kitchenware. Anything else is just a label on unbranded poor quality products that would not otherwise sell.

This is what the website says about Bush products - and this Kenwood Fridge Freezer is a Bush Product: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/about-the-appliance-industry/manufacturer-information/3157-bush-appliances
