The model is Kenwood KDC-W3037A

Originally £160, then £80, now £60.

Advert in Times last saturday says "free fitting" instead of normal £40 . Ordered mine by phone yesterday. "Half price fitting" said the lady. "No, it's free" I said, quoting the ad in Times. They honoured it - that's £60 fitted for a £160 radio.

To be honest though fitting a CD player takes about 5 minutes and anyone can do it, they are having a laugh charging £40! The ISO harnesses and fascia adapter and radio plugs will cost about £15, I don't reckon halfords include that in their price but they might do.

Just called my local Halfords who tell me its free fitting. But the extras I will need for a Ford Fiesta will be another £26 :w00t:

I have a fiesta and all the parts cost me less than £15 inc. delivery.

Also I have fitted CD players to saxos, fiestas, corsas, various other fords, vauxhalls and renaults. The only cars I know of that are harder to fit a CD player in are the more expensive ones that usually have a luxury trim already.

My lad paid £100 for a car cd player at Halfords free fitting .But after 40 minutes messing about the fitter said he couldn't do it because the plugs on the car were missing. He came home and it took me 20 minutes to sort it and fit it.

Website says half price fitting - not free, so you are definately going to need a copy of the advert.

Anyone seen the TV advert, I'm sure I remember seeing this stereo on their advert and I'm sure the advert stated "Free fitting"?
