Saw this in my local sainsburys (cramlington) last night.

Kenwood Smoothie Maker (SB256).

75% off so was £49.99 and NOW £12.49
Sure these were going for £25 at least so seems a pretty hot deal for me.

Must agree, I bought one for my daughters 12th birthday a year ago when she was mad on smoothies and she wanted one of these mixers to make her own. Probably hasn't been used for the last 11 months!!!
We ended up with my in-laws, not bad but can't handle ice very well, even when I've bashed the ice with a rolling pin before putting in.:?
mine was a present from my neighbour, i really wanted one!!!.... but must say its been in the box still new for the last three years!!! good deal
Same as everyone else - good price, but mine's been sat gathering dust in the corner of the kitchen for at least 18 months!
I cant belive you have one gathering dust..... gets some ice crem and milk and whatever chocolate you like .... put a bit of each in together and mix it all up !!!! YUMMY YUMMY !!!

That is what i call one nice shakaway however they can put on the pounds if you have too it they are addictive !!! :) HOT HOT
Snap. This post was from me but didnt want to admit this at the time. No choice now since everyone saying the same thing.

Got mine 2 years ago for £25. Great to start with but now gathering dust.
Costs 2 much for all the fruit you need just for one drink.... I find it cheaper to buy the pre-made ones.

Still a cheap price though if someone really wants to have one.... well, at least to use for a month !!
Sits nicely next to the popcorn maker, george foreman grill, waffle maker and sodastream !
I've had this like for 1 year and i never much used it after the first or two days of using it...

and yeah, it costs around £25 eventhough it said it is £44
I got one of these when they were new from one of the supermarkets for £40, and at this discount price it's a total bargain!!

I'm amazed people have them but aren't using them!!
I use mine to make smoothies with apple+orange juice, a banana and some frozen summer fruits, they're nice :-D

I also use it to make soup, as it's lots quicker and easier than getting the blender out!

As an earlier poster mentioned; it's great for knocking up milkshakes too
is it the same as this one from Tescos before xmas?

KENWOOD SB206 Smoothie Maker - now £10 @ Tesco Direct
Good price. :thumbsup:We use ours regularly for smoothies and milkshakes. Caan work out dearer than store bought smoothies but soooooooo much better.
oh yes that may have been me mentioning the milkshakes, amazed ppl have these and dont use them or now and again!! i think there great !! it really doesnt cost that much either to make the milkshakes or smothies.... we used the chocolates we got for xmas, mixed in with milk and ice cream....but soup good idea i didnt think of that !! will deffinately have to try that thanks for the idea... :)
I've got the 800W one and it is pretty good. However, I must admit it is not used very often
