Probably another one off, but still a great price.
Probably another one off, but still a great price.

at least 20-30 on the shelf in my local store (Edinburgh)
great buy !
Birchfields Road in Manchester was the store I got it from.

There were two when I got their. So only one left.

I didnt really need one but my g/f has turned into a bargain hunter and thought it would be a nice pressie or like the way she is 'just in case the current kettle goes bust'
Generally around the £20 mark, so good deal
Boiling hot
steaming good deal!!
cheers ......
no offence, but i bought one of these kettles from argos a while back. it's rubbish tbh, not even worth a tenner imo

dosnt it boil water?

yes. it also drips all over the work top due to a very poor lid design. you have to nearly half fill it just for the water level to show on the float, and there's some kind of strange rattling sound from in the element. other than's great!

i'm just offering advice as i own one, £10 would probably get you a better kettle elsewhere :)
I bought a kettle a while back.It was a cheapo something like "Cookworks" and when you pour the water seems to go all over the worktop instead of into the teapot.
My worktop constantly has puddles all over it.
I'd have bought one of these but if it drips everywhere I'm no further ahead.
Seems a good kettle to me.

There was also another bargain on the shelf next to it - a Breville model down from £49.99 to £12.50. It was more a traditional shape kettle, but still in chrome / stainless steel.

Both bargains.
I got mine from the local corner shop style Sainsbury's, in Sedgefield.

It's worth noting that it's a Which? magazine 'best-buy' as well.
I stopped into Sainsbury's in Cobham on my way to work this morning and there weren't any sub £20 kettles to be had. I guess since the Chelsea training ground and the players and WAGs moved to Cobham they don't need to cut any prices.
