Irish butter is the best. So is Irish cheese. I only wish Tesco sold Irish milk. Heat added.
Are you Irish by any chance?
I prefer Scottish milk / cheese / butter but then I'm in Scotland so that's what I'm used too. But I give you that Irish cheese and butter is also good.
I took the sains offer of 2 for £3 on the 500g spreadable tub.

 Gr8 post. My local store had failed to display any price for the butter at all! (the same has happened before when a super deal on a product is on!)....so I asked an assistant to price check it for me and hey presto it was 50p. Is it me or is this a tactic of the manager to lead us into purchasing a dearer product as we're unsure of the price or am I becoming cynical in my old age!!!

You're being cynical and I don't know how old you are!
They just can't be bothered to put the ticket up, or another customer took it so it wouldn't sell out before they told their friends. Now that's cynical.
is it suitable for vegetarians?
Its 50p so price is great.
The nescafe coffee offer advertised press doesn't start until 27/11 and ends on 29/11, the advert had wrong info apparently this is what I heard at customer service while I was in the Q.

It might have been a glitch as price now is 94 ea, or 2 for 1.60
