Ketel One Vodka 70cl Asda £11.00

Ketel One only £11.00 a bottle in Asda. Normally £22 a bottle.

What more can I say? This is the good stuff. This is one of the premium vodkas (along with Grey Goose and Belvedere) and £11 a bottle is super cheap.

Add in 23 bags of Cadbury's Mini Eggs for 25p each and it's just the essentials.

Not available in all stores and certainley not in Huddersfield.

This is the dogs dangly bits

As soon as I get chance I'll be raiding ASDA for this. Half a dozen bottles sounds about right!
#6
Very good deal indeed, this is more like £22+ in most places.
#7
This is a great deal, good quality, not top end but usually retails around £20-£25. IMO £11 is a fantastic bargain.
#8
I can actually see 7 bottles were purchased but then the receipt is cut off, did you buy any more than 7? Best part of a hundred quid on vodka, who says we're in a recession.
#9
great vodka, one of only a few that still goes through a traditional copper pot still. As mentioned not super premium but a damn sight better than smirnoff
#10
Made in my hometown in Holland, quality stuff!
#11
This is not on their website or in my local. Must be some kind of special trial in your store?

Nah she scanned 7 by mistake. We only had 6 so she had to refund £11. The wife got 2 earlier though ;)

Brilliant deal - am going to my local Asda later so will see if they have any, thanks OP - HOT from me :)

Not tried this vodka, how does it compare to russian standard (normal or platinum)? that's my favorite supermarket vodka, but I get chopin vodka from poland when I can afford it. So good.
Not convinced gray goose should be classed as a premium vodka, costs premium money but doesn't taste like it should.

russian standard is rubbish according my russian mates. they prefer absolut or finlandia and they real experts in vodka-drinking:) must advice them this one
#19
So how does this compare to Absolut? That is by far the best vodka I have drunk.
#20
thanks for the tip - i'll give it a try if they've got some left at the weekend.
#21
Chopin vodka was fairly decent but been a while since I had it. I wish Asda was in more of a conveniant location for me then I'd try this.
#22
Russian standard is my favourite. I despite smirnoff/absolut, Think finlandia and stolichnaya are nice. Not tried this but heard good things so going to pop down to see if theres any in stock :)

Agree with this ranking of vodkas.

Just been to ASDA Crossharbour which is a large store with a good range of vodkas and they dont have Ketel One. Not sold out either, they just dont stock it.

Could be a regional / store specific offer.

You obviously have never drank anything but smart price vodka if you think that
#32
This is a delightful vodka at a brilliantly bargainous price. I will be Asda-bound tomorrow!

For most people yea smart price vodka would be fine, a double measure of vodka with a litre of coke..doesnt matter how bad the vodka is

but if you drink cheap vodka straight you can feel the difference compared to say Stolichnyia

Sorry, we can't find anything that matches your search for Ketel

No sign of even an empty slot on the shelves at Asda Crawley (though not really sure if they'd appreciate quality spirits round here?)

Did get a 50p bag of Mini Eggs though.
#35
I generally drink Asda's budget vodka, whatever that happens to be at the time. Today it's 'Selekt' (?????!!!) at £8.72 for 70cl.

I fill a pint glass two thirds full with ice, put 3-4 slices of lemon in, add a 35ml shot of Asda Smart Price double strength lemon cordial (29p a litre), put a double (50ml) shot of the vodka in, then top up with Smart Price lemonade (18p for 2 litres and it is sugar free, zero calories).

And you know what? I get very merrily stoated and pay the minimum amount of tax to the government as a bonus.

Waes hael!

Tip...... Buy Smart Price lemons, slice them up and then freeze them. You'll always have lemon slices for your drinks that thaw the moment you pour drinks on them.

None in Middlesbrough - was looking forward to that too.

Even asda.co.uk struggles to find it online saying: "Sorry, we can't find anything that matches your search for "Ketel" "

Add the Falls Road/Andersons Town adsa's to the other 2 stores I visited that don't sell or stock it, think thats all the big Northern Ireland stores covered.
