Excellent shed and price... Was over £400 for a while but now reduced for one day (Deal of The Day) to £314.40.

The larger 6x8 is also reduced I believe.

Excellent maintenance free shed at excellent price (although has been at slightly lower price £295 last August but I didn't buy... That was the lowest price in nearly two years!)

So if you need one grab it whilst you can!

I needed a shed urgently a couple of years ago, was planning on building a stone one as my wooden ones of six years were falling over, got the base in then ended up changing jobs and having little no spare time, my wooden sheds took advantage of this situation and collapsed around me ears, literally, i saw a deal for an 11x9 Keter at Costco which was saving £200 so i took the plunge. The shed is still standing, not lost shape and does not loog out of place, never had to clean any mildew off it so its a lot less hassle than any wooden ones. I cannot vouch for other makes but Keter sheds are certainly up to the job after two years maintenence free

That's reasonably good price... Was slightly cheaper around November last year but if you need one then go for it otherwise you don't how long you'll be waiting for it to come down further..

Plastic houses next.
Need to move to USA for that, most of them are glorified mobile homes.

Fake plastic girlfriend?
#13
Can you pay for this with your plastic?

Would you say this is the most suitable type for storing magazines and books i.e. waterproof? The alternative would be a decent wooden shed.

Yeah - good price. Manufacturing costs £10 if that. £200 a fair price which takes into account manufacture, packaging, shipping, taxes etc

Unless it's completely sealed - which it won't be - the humidity will be the same as outside.

Trust me these are great,i have a 6x6 and a 6x4 Keter shed plus i have just purchased a Keter Ultra outdoor storage unit for £210...Wish i`d seen this first as i`d have spent a little more to buy this.
I`ve had wood sheds which need to be maintained and a Metal shed which just rusted away, but with these there is no maintenance needed, maybe a quick jet wash every few years.
Yeah, i have a lot of stuff, bikes, toys, garden furniture etc and these are ideal for storage.

The shed does come with a base but the base must be put on level ground otherwise it will not fit together well.

I hear plastic is the future. Tons of it in the oceans, just need to come up with a way to harvest it

are these easy to install? worth getting someone in to build?

would i need to add anything to my lawn? i believe its kind of flat - but not an expert in landscaping/gardening. What would you guys suggest to make sure its even. does the keter come with anything?

any reccomendations for locks

I believe they're two persons build from flat pack and generally click click sort of assembly.

They come with plastic base and you need a flat surface to install on... If you have grass I'd put some flags down and install on top.

Lock wise try local screwfix... You should be able to pick up a decent external padlock that won't rust for under £10...

Hope it helps .

The materials may well cost £10. Manufacturing it wont though.

Stuck my up yesterday... Shed is okay now its up but full of issues sticking it together. Panels / metal warped and bend and bits drilled in the wrong place. I think mine was stuck together from bits of the part bins...!

Was meant to get this delivered on Saturday. Absolute nightmare trying to get it delivered/rescheduled. Spoke to 4 ppl at Amazon as a result of trying to get this sorted and I still can't even cancel the stupid order. Not bothering with big items from Amazon again

Delivered Saturday but not fully built yet... Was struggling to fit back roof edging... Would not sit flush with the walls!...

I'm not too impressed... They said it was reinforced with steel /metal but it's not... There's hardly any metal about so all in all it's a plastic shed!

That's the same issue I had. The main roof beam needs to slot, bioth the back and front panels. However due to it being drilled incorrectly it would push the sections apart.

Having said that its still got gaps.... POS
