i have just been to leicester morrison - no sign of £9 bbq and no staff have heard of the offer! although plenty of more expensive ones there.
Has anyone managed to get one? def nationwide?

We've got a Weber barbeque and this looks like a very cheap imitation of one. Our Weber cost about £80 more then this and is amazing build quality, so i'd be interested to know how this compares.

it won't. You won't beat a Weber, unless you spend a lot more money

It looks like the same one we got from Woolies last year for £10. Not bad but obviously very basic. If you only bbq a couple of times a year like us, then fine.

There was a big advert in the sun so it must be nationwide?

alright for 1 year I suppose it will burn through eventually - cheap thin metal

It won't 'burn through'. How do you burn steel - the thickness is not the issue?
It may rust through but for £10 its disposable and you can just go buy a new one!
Sure, there are better and it will be a little flimsy but this is £10
That said, none at my local either.

thanks, this will be my next annual bbq if i can get my hands on one...
#15
They definately had some in the Reading store

weve got one of these - it does very well.
Just treat as disposable that will last longer than the 'disposable' bbq trays

How do you burn through metal?, you apply heat you jerk

All metals melt at certain temps ever seen a welders cutting torchin action, of course thickness is an issue and who mentioned steel - steel is a very loose term, its an iron/ carbon alloy that can have different compositions and therefore very different characteristics

As I said it will last a year or so

Think it will last a lot longer than a year if looked after. I was going to buy a Weber gas BBQ, but as I'll only use it 3 or 4 times a year it would be a waste of money.
I've just bought one of these from Moggy's as a backup to the £8 round BBQ that Asda do.

If it's cleaned after use then even these cheapo BBQ's will last a long time.

And I doubt it will burn through, would need some seriously concentrated heat to do that.

Had a weber-a-like for many years. Excellent to cook on. £9 is a gift.

Just to say the ones in the Anchorage park store did not look like the one in the picture. They had 4 legs and the bowl was not as deep, or at least from what I could see from the size of the box.

I've got that Weber one, good bit of kit.

As someone said it won't measure up to the Weber but ay this price it's worth a shot. Its the same price as 3 disposibles and will cook a lot lot better and will last for the whole summer.
