what if you got children?

Are they not just as likely to move the 'finder'?

I agree with Bristoldeal - if you have to keep the thing to find your keys in a safe place, why not just put the keys in that place initially?!

Yeah, what if you lose the key finder? If you've got kids, they might hide that too.

Having just spent two days searching for a missing set of car keys (husband put them down and forgot where!!!) this would be ideal, I could keep this away from offending husband, where as I have to let him use the car keys! Great find.

So you weren't able to use your car for 2 days? Do you live in a 50 room mansion? :-D

Thats right had no car for two days, it was a nightmare, unfortunately no mansion, but four kids and millions of toys to check! :)

you could buy two, attach the other searcher to the first finder one. then if you lose your keys and the finder, you can find the finder and then find your keys.

or attach two of them to your keys, then you have two chances to find them.

i'm bored.

So with this - you have to be able to whistle.
But yet also not whistle around the house anywhere near the keys
i like the sound of that

But it's a real pain when i go round a friends house and have to run home, hang my keys up where i normally leave them, then get a taxi back to my friends house, then get a taxi back to mine, pick up my keys, get a taxi back etc. etc.

Just bought a keyfinder from Deal Extreme - it cost 80p. Very good, in that you whistle & it beeps.

The problem is it's prone to beeping on its own for no reason...therefore it's going in the bin - the kids have 80ps worth of fun out of though!

Just about everything I've bought off Deal Extreme.....in the main sucks, but it's laughably cheap & buying from them means I have a terrible 'carbon footprint' ...this is good, cos I have an annoying relative abroad with a house right on the waters edge - I really want those icecaps to melt soon & flood his place. (to hell with my childrens' future....just as long as he has to wear wading boots in his living room, I'll be happy)

no because the key finder will always be in your pocket or in your wallet a bunch of keys wont be.

So why is there more chance of losing your keys than anything else in your pocket? That's what I really don't get. I'm not trying to be awkward, but if you're the sort of person who loses your car keys, I'd imagine you're more than likely the sort of person who will lose a car key finder. :whistling:

There is no comparison between the the one posted and the one for a quid. The one posted is an RF device that works through walls.
I can't understand why this is being voted cold.
This is not something that I would want, but I wouldn't vote cold for that reason.

If you have a habit of losing your keys, im sure you will lose the transmitter for this key finder!
#18
Might be half price, but some people may need to buy 2 sets.

One to find the keys when they lose them...and another to find the remote finder to find the keys.

Each set however may have the same frequency (100% likely) so whilst trying to find your finder to find the keys...you may well skip the middle man and find the keys or your neighbours keys/finder if the range is any good...

Ok i give up...:whistling:
