I like the idea of these and have bought ones from a couple of stores in the past. The problem is that they go off far to easily and it doesn't have to be a whistle to set them off. So far both types I have bought go off when the telly is a bit loud, when anyone coughs, when the radio is on and other apparently random times when I cannot work out why. It's not long before the batteries are dead and anyone you give these to are likely to bin them.
