No, but I believe you get a 2 year warranty, so should give you peace of mind. The 1060 is a great card, can get 60 fps at 1440 in GTA on high settings.

Yep. 1060 < 1070 < 1080, with about 25% performance jump at each step, but the cost raises by about 50% each step. If you are patient there are occasional 1070s around £300 (e.g. Amazon.fr warehouse or misprices), but it is is still a lot of cash to splurge.

For 1080p gaming an overclocked 970 or a 1060 is perfect. It's only when you are looking at 1440p or higher that you need 1070.
