If you didn't fancy importing, then ebuyer is quite reasonable with 1080.

Or Novatech 1080.

Evil clown card.

An evil clown, what could go wrong? https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71s1lDD0oUL._SL1500_.jpg

It beginning to get tempting. I'm looking at an upgrade for my trusty 290 which still holds up well. My only issue is that I've got a decent Freesync monitor I'm using so I'm waiting on what Vega has to offer (and how much it'll cost).

I picked up a Zotac 1080 Amp Extreme last week for £390 (Amazon warehouse, open box) as an experiment.

Removed my Fury (and killed my freesync in the process) and to be honest, with Nvidia fast sync enabled, even with V-Sync off I haven't yet noticed tearing in games I've been playing... Yet.

I'll pick up Vega if it's priced around £400 and delivers 1080 performance just to make full use of my monitor again, in which case I'll return the 1080 and sell my Fury.

Be aware that this is a third party seller, not Amazon.

third party seller fulfilled by Amazon

Hot, although the exact same card from the exact same seller on Amazon.co.uk is cheaper?
You so silly. :-D

980 still going strong.

Thinking these will hit £350 during sales now and then once vega is out. Looking to pick one up my self, but need to see if the vega is worth it first, but wonder if my cpu would bottleneck this card? i5 6600k oc'd to 4.5ghz hmm.. I may be better off sticking to the 1070..

It won't.

Apparently they've sold enough stock through that the 1080 will stay at its price now after initial discounts over the last month or so based on Ti arrival - according to Gibbo @ OCUK.

I wouldn't expect them to drop to <£400 anytime soon.

I've had a KFA2 970 for over a year. Been fantastic. I'm looking to switch to a 1080 (although probably overkill for my AOC 1080p Gsync 144Hz but would future proof me for a bit). This is a nice price. What's the main differences between this card and the EX OC Sniper? OCUK have the Sniper @ £499 atm.

The colour.

Edit: Strangely OCUK are showing the pictures for the Galax card, same card different name.
Either way it's not worth £90 more.

350 may be a stretch, but they will surely continue downward in cost like almost all graphics cards. The only recent exception was the 970, which dropped really low and hung on till it was discontinued.

But I'd expect this card to continue it's downward trend.

Though, with a 1070, your money is probably better spent waiting till the volta/vega lines get pushed out, and then see if either suite you.

There are very rarely fire sales on cards, in my experience. Price tends to come down a bit over the lifetime of the product, then they disappear from shelves. A few exceptions, of course.

RX480 and 1060 seem to have increased in price over the last few weeks, and they've been in the wild for nearly a year.

KFA2 (aka Galax) always seems to push the envelope with prices. Had a KFA GTX970 and now have a 1070. Quiet, reliable never had a single problem with em.
